Our beautiful and spacious villa / townhouse is situated in a safe and peaceful location just a short stroll to the stunning beach, restaurants and cafes / bars. Relax by your own private pool in the back garden, soaking up the sun. There are 3 large bedrooms, dining area, lounge area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Garage and ample parking to the front. Surrounded by historical places of interest such as Obidos and Alcobaca. Other beautiful beaches within close driving distance with various water sports available.

Notes on accommodation
Outside there is seating with garden table and chairs underneath awning. Traditional Portuguese BBQ. The pool has an underwater light and the outside area is a real sun trap. Relaxing atmosphere in both the evening and day. This is a no smoking property.
Outside
Private Pool, 7x3m with fantastic sun coverage during the day. There is a large patio area with dining table and chairs plus sun loungers including cushions all provided. Ample off road parking outside including private drive.
Coast/Beach
Strolling distance from the beautiful bay and beach of Sao Martinho do Porto. Lovely horseshoe shaped bay with tranquil sea, safe clean beach, tents and shade covers available in the summer.
Golf
Ideal for golf enthusiasts looking for more value for money than the Algarve. Several golf courses within 20-30 minutes drive and more planned for 2012. This is an up and coming area for golf and Praia D'el Rey is in the top 100 golf courses in the world.
Travel
Lisbon airport only 1 hour drive away. Porto 2 hours drive and Faro 3 hours drive. Bus service 5 minutes from Lisbon airport, which will take you right to centre of Sao Martinho do Porto for under 10 euros. Local taxis also available.
Further details
Surrounded by historical places of interest such as Obidos and Alcobaca. Other beautiful beaches within close driving distance with various water sports available. There is a sailing school at nearby Foz do Arelho. There is also surfing at Foz do Arelho, Baleal and Peniche.

Your villa is great and we would definitely recommend it - the location is super being quite central. The town is welcoming and the people terrific. It is perfect whether you wish to explore further afeild or stick close and just enjoy the town. We were very surpised at the cost of everything as it was all so cheap and we had lots of money to come home with which as you can imagine we are also very happy about. Why the owner chose a home in this location
We decided to buy on the Silver Coast for it's authenticity and value for money. When we first visited the area and drove in to Sao Martinho do Porto to view the villa we fell in love with the place. We knew then that even if the villa fell through we would be buying a property there. Everything about the place is idyllic from the beautiful and tranquil bay with it's golden beach to the gorgeously warm (but not too hot) climate. The villa itself is so spacious and the surrounding area peaceful. We love sunbathing by our lovely private pool and then strolling down to the seafront at night to eat in one of the many excellent fresh fish restaurants. The steaks are really nice too! But if you fancy eating in then fire up the barbie, the supermarket is only a short walk away.
Unique benefits of the property
There is something for everyone here. The villa itself is conveniently located with good access to all the necessary amenities you would want on holiday. The beach is 10 minutes away or 1 minute by car. But if you prefer then stay by the private pool and have fun splashing around in the sun. Not many villas of this size and price offer a private pool. The large supermarket is 2 minutes walk and there is now a petrol station there to fill up if you need to. If you are looking for a more active holiday then there are several great golf courses within 20 - 30 minutes drive. Alternatively, you can visit the Medieval towns of Obidos and Alcobaca for some real Portuguese culture. The food is mostly fresh fish, caught that day but there are other meat options too as well as Pasta/Pizza houses.
