This delightful apartment with use of a shared heated pool is situated on the Gramacho Golf Resort, which together with the neighbouring Vale da Pinta course, makes it an ideal location for golfers and families alike. There are plenty of on-site facilities including a restaurant, tennis, bowls, supermarket and small children's play area. There is a high quality security service which also adds peace of mind. The apartment is close to Carvoieiro with its numerous restaurants and beautiful beaches. It is also close to the delightful village of Ferragudo which still retains plenty of local character as well as one of the longest and most protected beaches in the area.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday, but the owners are flexible. Arrival is from 2pm and departure by 10am. However this can be varied in individual circumstances and there are facilities to store luggage and take showers if necessary.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is ideal for children as it provides a safe environment for younger children as it is on a fully secured complex with the shared heated pool being a short distance from the apartment. For older children the shared heated pool provides a wonderful opportunity to meet other children staying at the small number of nearby apartments.
Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor and can be easily accessed from the car park with only a couple of small curbs to negotiate and the entrance to the apartment.
Outside
The apartment is situated amongst beautiful gardens and is surrounded by lawns that lead down to the heated pool. The apartment benefits from its own private terrace outside the sitting room and master bedroom. There is a table and four chairs with a sun umbrella. Around the heated pool there are a number of sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is situated within easy access of many of the beautiful Algarvian beaches. The owners favourite, Caneiros, a delightful sheltered cove, is approx 5 minutes by car. It is possible to walk to Caneiros along the cliffs which gives stunning views of the coastline, however it is long walk and should be rewarded by a lunch at the outstanding seafood restaurant on the beach! There are plenty of other beaches within a similar short drive, including coves and long open stretches of sand.
Golf
The apartment is situated on the prestigious Pestana Gramacho championship course. The Gramacho clubhouse is less than 2 minutes from the apartment. The sister course, Vale da Pinta, is also a very short distance from the apartment. The Pestana Golf Academy is between the 2 courses. Tee times at Pinta or Gramacho can be booked directly at both the Pinta and Gramacho clubhouse, or in advance of your stay. The owners are happy to provide you with any necessary information or make bookings on your behalf before your arrival. They are also able to obtain discounts on most local courses. The apartment is also within easy access of numerous local courses.
Travel
The apartment is approximately 60kms from Faro airport. Whilst a car is generally recommended, it is possible to have a delightful stay at the apartment making use of the on-site factilies and taxis if travelling further afield.
Distances
The apartment is less than 10 minutes by car from the centre of Carvoeiro with its numerous restaurants. Lagoa and Estombar are also less than 5 minutes by car. The quaint village of Ferragudo is also less than 10 mins by car. The old Moorish town of Silves is approximately 15 minutes by car. Splash and Slide is less than 2 minutes from the villa by car. Other water parks and Zoo Marine are also within easy driving distance.
Further details
The Pinta and Gramacho clubhouses provide meals and snacks throughout the day. Gramacho also has a restaurant open later in the evening. There are other restaurants close to the apartment. The nearest supermarket is at the Gramacho site, which is within walking distance. A larger supermarket is within a 5 minute drive.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the balance should be made 8 weeks before departure. A refundable damage deposit of £100 is also required. Payment can be made electronically. The owners will provide further information when a booking is made.
