Ideally situated for a relaxing family holiday, Quinta da Boa Vida, is set in over an acre of mature gardens, with its own 10 x 5m pool, within easy reach of beaches, golf courses and 10 minutes drive from the historic, holiday town of Lagos. The villa offers spacious, comfortable, accommodation, tastefully furnished in traditional, rustic style. A partially self contained, converted winery, with separate kitchen, bedroom and TV lounge, forms an annex to the main villa. The villa is about 4km from the nearest town, Odiáxere, towards the Bravura Barragem (dam). Meia Praia (beach) is about 10 minutes drive away, passing through the stunningly beautiful Palmares golf course, or for more golf, there is the internationally renowned Penina (12km).

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. In off peak season, a discount will be considered for long rental periods or where the villa is occupied by just 2 people. Utility costs are not included for long rental periods. Payment can be accepted by cheque in pounds or Euro by prior arrangement.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. To allow time for cleaning, occupancy is usually taken up after 4pm on the day of arrival and vacated by 10am on the date of departure.

Notes on accommodation
There is a handbook that helps with internal matters in the villa and recommends local places of interest and restaurants. There is an internet connection available. A complimentary welcome pack is provided on arrival - enjoy a light snack and relax by the pool before having to shop.

Outside
The 10x5m private pool with terrace shelves gently from 1m to 2m. There is a large lawn and ample garden furniture. There are pepper and citrus trees and a 20x20m car standing area. A covered terraced area outside the kitchen back door, is convenient and practical for barbecues and for relaxing in the shade.

Coast/Beach
There are many beautiful beaches within a reasonable drive: Meia Praia is 10 minutes drive, Alvor, Praia da Rocha, Praia do Vau about 20 minutes and the beaches of the Western Algarve less than an hour.

Although it is not necessary to use it every day, a car is essential to fully enjoy your holiday. We can recommend good value car hire.

Faro is just under an hour by motorway. We leave 3 hours before the departure time, to allow 2 hours for flight check in.

Further details
We live in the house opposite to Quinta da Boa Vida. We are on hand to give advice, local information, carry out repairs when necessary and to make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. But if you don't need us, you won't see much of us after we have welcomed you to your holiday home.

Booking notes
When you contact us, please advise the dates you would like to rent the villa.
We will send you a booking form, and reserve the dates.
Deposit of 20% required with the completed booking form.
Balance due eight weeks prior to arrival.
Security deposit (£200), refundable within 2 weeks of departure.

We enjoyed our stay in Quinta da Boa Vida very much, especially for kids it's a wonderful place.
