The 4 bed all en-suite air conditioned villa is finished to a very high standard with marble floors and bathrooms throughout. The outdoor terrace and pool area is both sunny and shaded and very private as it is adjacent to the Ria Formosa. It has a shaded dining and outdoor kitchen area off the living room overlooking the pool. Pool heating is available at additional cost. Electric pool cover and window shutters provide additional security to the 24 hr private security within the complex. 3 bedrooms have double beds with large bathrooms attached. The 4th bedroom is a twin with shower room. The large basement is ideal for children and teenagers with a pool table, table tennis and a cinema room with two double sofa beds and laundry room.

Accessibility
The downstairs bedrooms access directly onto the pool area and the living room and kitchen. This floor however is accessed be steps up to the main hall.
Outside
5x20m private pool with electric cover and heating at additional cost. 4 sun loungers, dining tale and 8 chairs. Small table of kitchen terrace. BBQ and outdoor sink / prep area. Australian sun shade providing 98 degree sun protection. Extremely tranquil setting overlooking the bird sanctuary of the Ria Formosa.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful Ancao beach can be seen from the entrance to the resort and is 5 minutes walk through the pine trees. The resort has a private tennis court and Astroturf soccer pitch for sole use of residents. There are many lovely beach restaurants within walking distance.
Golf
The 3 famous golf courses at quinta do lago are 5 minutes drive away in one direction and the 2 courses at Vale do Lobo are 5 minutes in the other direction.
Travel
20 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car recommended but not essential.Excellent local taxi service.Beach restaurants within walking distance and 2 hotels.

Owner profile
About the owner
This was our own holiday house and was not designed to be rented so the fittings are of a very high standard. We would like to sell the house when the market picks up as we have built another one.
Our three teenagers have had great fun at the villa and enjoyed evening soccer and tennis matches with the other families in the complex, which is mostly owner occupied.
They like to walk a bit further down the beach to the busy section at Julias restaurant where the younger kids congregate. My husband and I have also enjoyed long walks on the beach and many meals at the amazing array of nearby beach and other local restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet and privacy around the villa.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Its only 5 mins walk through the pine trees to a really quiet part of the beach and yet only a short drive to the busier resorts of Quinta do lago and Vale do Lobo.
You can also walk 20/30 mins each way from our beach to the other busier sections.
The location right on the Ria Formosa is particularly quiet and secure. The fact that we can easily walk to the beach and beach restaurants together with the privacy around the villa were the principal attraction.
Unique benefits of the property
Walking to the beach and the local beach restaurants and the secluded private pool area filled with birdsong. Activities on site for the children. Exceptionally secure due to friendly 24 hr security service organised by the owners association.
We are keen golfers and there are several first class courses within 5 mins drive.
Local restaurants and supermarkets are excellent which make entertaining easy.
