Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible to allow you to take advantage of cheap flights. We operate a very simple booking system. You can pay online & be in the Algarve within a couple of days. Our price is a low as we dare to go. Text me on number below.

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
This apartment is made for living in, summer or winter. Unlike some apartments this block is always quiet as most owners live abroad only visiting in summer. Perfect for longer stays of up to 6 weeks or longer through the winter. Prices include all utilities. This area is very safe. You can take a walk early morning or late at night. It is well lit with plenty of friendly locals about.
We NEVER charge higher prices when there is a Bank holiday ie Xmas, Easter or Whitson. Make the price of your flight worth it, stay for as long as you can. Come from Oct to end May when the weather is nearly always lovely. Rain is a must but the apartment is so cosy and comfy that it really doesn't matter that much. It's then time to have a lie in or put on a DVD.

Amenities/Facilities provided

Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is Cabanas which is wide, clean and sandy. During the summer months there is a tourist train from the station area to Cabanas for the ferry crossing to the beach. Or a short drive to Manta Rota where there is ample parking and an easy walk to the beach. Praia Verde is a unique & beautiful beach with its own beach front restaurant. A truly wonderful setting for a romantic evening meal watching the sun set. Fab. a must do.

Golf
Benamor golf course is within walking distance. Ask for details for on line booking. You can book before you even leave home. Quinta da Ria & Quinta de Cima with it's fantactic golf academy is a mile down the road. Come in Oct till End April it's perfect weather for golf. Special interest holidays
Permission to use new pool located in the new Campsite (Campismo) nearby! 2 min drive or 5 min walk, open till 10pm. New to the area are walking tours in the Algarvian countryside. How about giving the new concept very stable 'Hobie' peddal Kayaks. Close by the apartment is the start of the new cycle track it crosses the Salinas (salt pans) to Tavira and is a lovely area where all kinds of water birds including Flamingos can be seen. Travel
Faro airport is 40 mins drive or taxi ride. Local taxi firm to call & pre arrange pick up on 00351966821910/11.There is a shuttle bus from the airport to Faro bus station from there it is a short walk to the station taking you to Conçeiçao do Tavira station which is just a very short walk to our apartment this is perfect for those of you who do not wish to hire a car you can still enjoy the delights of the Algarve from end to end.

Distances
Tavira, considered to be the jewel in the crown of the Eastern Algarve is 7km, just a short drive or 2/3 stops on the train.
Monte Gordo is 15km with it's Casino for evening fun.
Villa Real de St Antonio is 18km where for an away day you can catch a ferry or drive to Ayemonte in Spain.

Further details
Local shops, train station, post office, chemist and even a dentist, bars and Internet cafe, restaurants are all within walking distance. There are new walking tours, a cycle route from end to end of the Algarve. Kayaking tours on the Ria formosa. Deep sea diving around the wrecks around the mouth of the Arade river. You can find all the contact info so you can book everything from home before you leave in an earlier paragraph.

Booking notes
£50 per week deposit on booking with remainder paid 6 weeks before your arrival. Directions will be emailed and the key sent to you or secreted for you to collect so your arrival is hassle free should you be delayed. If you prefer to phone to make a booking but do not get a reply then text me on my mobile number below, with your date required and I will text or phone you by return. We are happy to take bookings for 4 weeks and more at any time of the year.
