There are shops, cafes and restaurants within and around the complex. 5 min from the prestigious Alto golf course and close to the town, shops and the best beaches in the Algarve. Coast/Beach
A short walk will take you to ‘Praia do Alvor’ beach or 'Praia do Vau' beach which are 2 of the nicest beaches in the Algarve, there are sand dunes ending to the famous Algarve Cliffs. Sun loungers can be rented daily. There are several beach restaurants that offer a wide range of dishes to suit everyone.

Golf
The Algarve is a golfers paradise and our apartment is ideally situated to take advantage of the best courses. The prestigious Alto Golf and Country Club is a only a 5 minute walk from the doorstep and was the last course to be designed by Sir Henry Cotton. It boasts the longest hole is Europe, the 15th at 660 yards. The Penina Championship course also designed by Sir Henry Cotton is only a 5 min drive away. Other courses nearby are: Quinta do Morgardo, Pestana Golf Resort, Palmares, Boavista Golf, Pinta and Gramacho. All of which are less than 20 mins drive away.

Travel
Faro airport is approximately 40 minutes by car. Car hire is not essential, although if you wish to go further a field and explore what the region has to offer, then there are plenty of car hire companies to choose from at Faro airport or in Alvor itself. If you decide not to hire a car we can recommend a transfer service to and from the airport offering very competitive rates.

Distances
Alvor, 15 mins walk or 4 euros by taxi.
Praia da Rocha, 6 euros by taxi.
Zoo marine, 20km.
Slide and Splash water park, 15km.

Further details
Alvor is a beautiful holiday destination and our apartment is ideally located for you to enjoy maximum benefits. The facilities are excellent and just across the road you have access to mini mart, newsagent, hair and beauty salon, playground and cafes.
Alvor itself has a super selection of restaurants and bars. The fish restaurants down at the harbour are a must.
We have left details of restaurants we would recommend in the Apartment and that may be of help.
There are waterparks nearby and Zoo Marine provides a wonderful day out for all the family with its dolphin/seal shows and endless rides and amusements.
The mountain town of Monchique provides spectacular views of the Algarve.
Carting, bowling, parachuting are also available.
There is a hospital just 2 min drive from the apartment.

Booking notes
An initial booking fee of 200 euros is required to secure your booking. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your holiday date, plus a 200 euros refundable security deposit (this will be refunded to you after the apartment has been inspected). When the balance has been paid we will forward you all details and directions. You will be met on arrival by our representative.

Nice apartment in a lovely quiet area
We stayed for one week in this apartment with our four children and found it was a great stay with a fantastic pool. Both Michelle and her Dad were so helpful in helping us to settle in and find our feet even accomadating our late arrival and providing us with water milk and some food as we arrived after 11p.m. the pool is brilliant. We would recommend a car is helpful but Ma Partilha is the best of both worlds situated halfway between Alvor and Portimao. Would highly recommend the property!

Lovely apartment, great location.
Lovely, clean and modern apartment. Great pool area and gardens. Sun on the pool all day long. Ideal location. Bakery, restaurants, cafe, bar and small shop at top of road. Bus stop for Alvor just around the corner, €1.50 each way. This is our second time to Michelle's apartment in Ma Partilah. My husband and I had a really relaxing holiday both times. Noeleen Ireland,
