Located in the pretty fishing town of Olhos D’Agua, the villa is set within in its own secluded, mature gardens with plenty of space to relax and enjoy your holiday. Vila Silva is equipped and furnished to an excellent standard, making it extremely comfortable and giving a very welcoming and homely feel. The house is suitable for year round use as it's equipped with a log fire, underfloor heating and a private heated pool (pool heating is subject to an additional weekly charge). We take pride that the Villa is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. A complimentary welcome pack of local cheese, ham, bread and wine is provided on your arrival. The town has a great family beach and a good variety of restaurants. There is also a daily farmers market within walking distance of the house, so it's easy to stock up on delicious local produce! A five minute stroll takes you into the main town and on down to the beach.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. This is not flexible.
Access on arrival from 3pm.
Vacate on departure by 10am.
We are able to store your luggage on arrival/ departure.

Notes on accommodation
We have a secure, lockable pool fence that we can install for those with small children.
There is underfloor heating in the master suite and a log fire in the lounge area.
We can provide a wide range of baby & child equipment including listeners, potties, toilet seats, change mats, high chairs, sterilisers, cutlery, crockery, stair gates etc etc
Accessibility
The Villa has wide and spacious doorways and two bedrooms on the ground floor.
However, the lounge is slightly 'sunken' with two steps that lead down from the hall, kitchen and dining area. In addition there are three steps from the verandah to the pool terrace.
Outside
There is a very large garden, terrace and stunning kidney shaped private pool.
The gardens are not overlooked and are fully enclosed.
There is a selection of contemporary garden furniture, loungers, dining furniture, hurricane lamps and garden lighting.
Coast/Beach
Olhos D'Agua has a fantastic, family friendly beach, it's less than 10 minutes walk from Vila Silva, there is also good parking close to the beach.
The villa is ideally situated to explore the dramatic Algarvian coastline.
Golf
Olhos D'Agua is close to the golfing meccas of Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, all are approximately 20 minutes by car.
The nearest course (Sheraton Algarve Pine Cliffs) is a five minute drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro- approx 20kms from Vila Silva.
We can arrange private transfers to and from the airport.
A rental car is not essential however it is very handy to have one, so that you can independently explore the region.
We are able to arrange for a local car hire company to bring a car to the house for your arrival.

Olhos D'Agua- 5 minute walk.
Albufeira- 15 minute drive
Vilamoura- 20 minute drive
Booking notes
Please note: Change over day is strictly on a Saturday and the house can be rented for booking periods of 7 nights. We do not offer part weeks or long weekends.
We will not respond to any enquiries asking for bookings which do not run Saturday to Saturday.
20% of total cost of rental is required as a non refundable deposit to secure your booking.
The balance becomes due 12 weeks before your departure.

About the owner
Vila Silva was built by my husbands parents 25 years ago, on their retirement we purchased the house from them.
We are a young family and find that the Algarve suits our needs perfectly! We like to visit the villa as often as possible so that we can make sure it's in great shape for any guests that are visiting.
We have tried to make it as comfortable as possible as we like to treat it as a 'home from home'.
Over the years the villa has built up a loyal band of guests who return each year, we are proud of this as we feel it's a testament to the house!
