This accommodation is in a quiet block of only 6 apartments shared roof terrace with BBQ with fantastic views of the town 2 mins walk to riverside cafes and restaurants and takeaways 1 min walk to supermarket bakers 10 mins walk to the new grand plaza shopping centre were you will find fantastic shops restaurants and a multi screen cinema.

About the area
All beaches have the coverted EEC blue flag safe with small tides were you can walk swim, or just relax boasting one of the warmest water temperatures in the Algarve. Tavira island and Barril beach can be reached by a small train or ferry/aqua taxi. Restaurants and cafes with sun bed hire and watersports.
4 golf courses close by with Benamore being the nearest then Quinta de Rie, Quinta da Cima and Castro Marim.
How to get there
Faro airport is 32km away and takes around 30 mins driving time. Tavira has a train and bus station which enables you to explore further afield.you can get the train/bus directly from Faro to Tavira. After getting bus or taxi from the airport to faro town centre.

Tavira is one of the most unspoilt towns in the Algarve with the river Rio Galao running through the centre. The town retains its historic medieval past with its castle and 30 churches, winding cobbled streets, small cafes, daily market offering fresh fish and vegetables, a good choice of restaurants at reasonable prices. It boasts an outdoor amphitheatre which provides evening entertainment and concerts. The Ria Formosa natural reserve park is a world heritage site and has many rare birds enjoying a larger system of tidal lagoons which is a bird watchers paradise.

Lee is efficient and prompt with communication. Tavira is a lovely town and the apartment is in a good central location with a roof terrace with great views and all day sun. The apartment is airy , clean and very well equipped. We had a great time and would certainly like to visit again.
Recommended for: Tourists without a car and sightseeing
