Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible and subject to negotiation.
In order to give the maids time to clean the house before new arrivals, we would suggest that tenants should be out by 11am. New arrivals can arrive from 2pm onwards.

Living Rooms: Lounge with 2 sofas, separate sofabed (small double-bed), TV with Satellite connection featuring main UK terrestrial channels : DVD player: telephone/fax facility: dining room with table and four chairs next to kitchen.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bedlinen and Bath towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. Maid service is available for an hour for five days, excluding public holidays. Duties include general cleaning, bedmaking and ironing if time allows.

 

Notes on accommodation
Central heating is available during winter months only.
Villa is child friendly, subject to parental monitoring of pool area. Air-conditioning available in all bedrooms. Internet access is available through the telephone line. Cot and high chair can be rented for about £35 pw.

Accessibility
Access for wheelchair is limited to the front of the house through the french windows. There is sufficient space on the ground floor to allow movement by a wheelchair. The principal bedroom can only be accessed up a flight of stairs.
Garden area and sun terrace are all accessible by wheelchair.

Outside
Swimming pool dimensions 10m x 5m, cleaned once a week.
Heating system for swimming pool will be switched on before arrival. Temperature set to 28c. Therefore, swimming is available all year round, whatever the outside conditions! There are 8 sunloungers and 1 large sun shade on the terrace.
Main dining area is outside in shaded area with table and seating for 10. Barbecue is located at far end of pool. At the rear of house, there is a garage plus off-street parking for additional 3 cars. Small lawn areas plus mature gardens surround the house.

Coast/Beach
VDL Beach is 10 minutes' drive away.
Maria's Beach Bar is 10 minutes' drive away.

Golf
VDL Golf Course is 5 minute drive away.
Quinta, San Lorenzo, Vilamoura, Pinheiros Altos are no more than 20 minutes drive.
VDL Driving Range is 5 minutes' walk away.

Travel
Faro Airport is 25 minutes' drive away.
Use of car is essential to get around.

Distances
Almancil for best Supermarket is 15 minutes' drive away.
Loule for local markets is 30 minutes' drive away.
Quinta da Lago is 15 minutes' drive away.

Shopping is available in Quinta da Lago, Loule, Faro
Wide range of restaurants within 15 minutes' drive. Some cheap'n cheerful, others more expensive but nice locations.

Booking notes
Deposit of 10% of rental charge required with Booking confirmation.
Remainder required 6 weeks before departure.
£100 deposit will be added to final payment to cover any damage or breakages, outstanding telephone bills. Repayment after any deductions will be paid within 14 days after end of rental.

I can say that it easily exceeded all our expectations, in terms of location, facilities within the villa, and amenities which made it feel like a home from home’ (There are others, Ed!)
