Beaches from Armação de Pêra are at a 18 minutes driving distance. Beautiful wide beaches with clear water.
Golf
Golfcourses are near Lagoa (about 20 minutes), and Albufeira and Villamoura. (30-35 minutes)
Special interest holidays
We also own a rural property in the west Alentejo with horses, at a 1h20 drive. If you are interested in horseriding in a really wonderful area. It's at 20 minutes from the westcoast beaches, so good to combine with a sightseeing trip. Please mail for more information.

Messines has many very good local restaurants and a good supermarket.

About the owner
We are a Dutch family, bought Casa Maria in 2000, it was just finished building. We spend all year here in Portugal, except for the summer months which my parents spend in Holland, the villa is available for letting and I (Meike) look after everything and will be there for you when you arrive.

Quiet and peaceful area. Lots of privacy. Away from it all, though only 10 minutes to Silves, where there is a motorway access. 15 minutes to Algarve shopping.
