Monte da Eira offers a range of accommodation options. All rooms offer air-conditioning, LCD TV, hairdryer and internet access. Suites and double rooms offer an opulent private bathroom with further sleeping arrangements for children. Additionally, suites have a fully-equipped kitchenette (including microwave, sink and a range of utensils). Two family suites are also available, comprising a double bedroom, single bedroom and family bathroom. The majority of rooms have direct access to the stunning poolside terrace, offering magnificent views of the Eastern Algarve.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are air-conditioned. The single rooms can be coupled with a double room and bathroom to form a family suite. One of the suites has two twin beds, ideal for friends sharing. Both continental and English breakfast are available.

Accessibility
All rooms are on the ground floor with easy access for wheelchairs.

Outside
Substantial private gardens, with a variety of tropical plants, fruit, olive and carab trees. Private pool (7.5m x 4m) with child safety fencing and outside shower. Stunning poolside bar with breathtaking views over Santo Estevao and the coastline. Extensive outside lighting with private parking.

Coast/Beach
There are many stunning beaches within easy reach Monte da Eira - Isla Tavira, Fuseta, Cabanas, Manta Rota to name but a few. The closest is the fantastic beach of Barril with its fun train ride for children, lifeguard facilities, unspoilt stretches of white sand, vibrant bars and restaurants.

Golf
Golf is exploding in the Eastern Algarve. Local courses include Benamor (15 mins), the sister courses of Quinta da Cima and Quinta da Ria (both 15mins) and Jack Nicklaus' new masterpiece of Monte Rei (30 mins). The numerous courses of the Western Algarve can be reached within 40 minutes.

Special interest holidays
Monte da Eira offers bicycles for guest use. The area offers many cycling routes to Tavira and beyond, including nature trails and bird watching (go to the 'Salinas' near Tavira to see hundreds of flamingos!). The surrounding area is also a paradise for walkers.

Travel
Monte da Eira is within easy reach of Faro Airport (30 mins by car) and Spain (20 mins by car).

Distances
Santo Estevao is a 5 minute walk away, and offers bars, a good restaurant, cash machine, pharmacy and traditional church. Tavira - known locally as a the 'jewel of the Algarve' with its beautiful architecture, moorish castle and roman bridge - is a ten minute drive away. Tavira offers many facilities including new shopping centre, local market, many bars and restaurants, ten-pin bowling, medical centre and pharmacies. The historic city of Seville is a 1.5 hour drive away.
