Located in an idyllic unspoilt location literally just in front of the most beautiful beach imaginable. Sagres village has a surfy vibe, and offers many good restaurants (particularly seafood), and good bars. There are 22 beaches within a 15 minute drive and a huge National Park to explore. The locals are known to be extremely friendly and most speak English.

Internet also availabile at a surcharge. The owners have recently converted the garage into a 4th bedroom with ensuite shower room. So, this villa can be rented as a 3 or 4 bedroom
Accessibility
There is a twin bedroom located on the ground floor with ensuite facilities. The beach also has good access.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by its own private gardens with private pool (heated if required). Literally a minute from a beautiful beach.
Coast/Beach
The villa is located just in front of the beach (one minute walk), there are also a further 22 beaches within a 15 minute drive. This area of the western Algarve is very unspoilt where the beaches are hardly ever crowded.
Golf
The Algarve is famous for its many golf courses. The closest courses are at Parque da Floresta (10 minutes), Boa Vista (Championship course - 20 minutes), Palmeiras (Championship), Penina (Championship) etc.
Special interest holidays
We can organise babysitting, private chefs, masseurs, horse riding, water ski-ing, boat trips etc.
Travel
Faro is the closest airport, being a one hour and fifteen minutes drive. The drive is extremely easy and mainly motorway. We would be happy to organise a hire car for you, or arrange collection from the airport.
Distances
The beach is on your doorstep. Sagres is about a 15 minute walk (along the beach), or a 5 minute drive. There are 3 other main beaches in Sagres, and many good restaurants and bars. Another local village Vila do Bispo is about 6 or 7 minutes drive away. The larger town of Lagos is about 25 minutes drive away (with many smaller villages between Sagres and Lagos).
Further details
Sagres is an unspoilt fishing village very different from many other more established touristic locations. The local people are very friendly and nearly everyone will speak English. The Portuguese people are generally very family friendly.
Martinhal Beach is a truly stunning idyllic location and this is why so many people return year after year.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I bought in this location as it is totally unspoilt and totally different from many other more touristic destinations. The local people are really friendly, they love children and it reflects a "real" image of Portugal that hasn´t been spoilt.
The whole area is surrounded by National Park and there are 22 beaches within a 15 minute drive. I think this is why none of the beaches ever seem crowded.
Sagres Village is a fishing village, so the seafood is amazing. There is also a "surfy" vibe in the village which is fun.
Unique benefits of the property
The beach is literally at the doorstep. The villa is very private and secluded. There are 2 beach bars on Martinhal Beach. Sagres village is only a short distance away with a selection of very good restaurants and bars.
The villa is located close to Martinhal Resort, a new 5 star hotel and resort.
