This luxurious 4 bedroom villa is set in a large secluded plot in the prestigious Formosa Hills. Just a 10 minute drive from the beaches and premier resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. Villa Monte stands in a prominent position with views to the sea in this highly sought after area. Behind the electric gates, a sweeping driveway takes you to this very private and palatial residence. The property is set on a large plot and has ample lawned garden for ball games etc. There is a well stocked orchard with orange, lemon, lime and olive trees. There is also a substantial poolside lawned area which has been securely fenced off for smaller children to play safely by the pool. This pool area is accessed directly from the house and also leads out to the outdoor covered BBQ area, where you will find both gas and charcoal barbecues and dining for 12. The large pool (heated if required) has child friendly steps to the shallow end. The house has every amenity and has a/c throughout.

Bedroom 3 with bunk beds, extra bed under and en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 4 with twin beds, put up bed and en-suite.
Bathrooms: Luxury en-suite bathrooms upstairs both have walk-in showers, jacuzzi baths, wc, bidet and his and hers washbasins.
Bedroom 3 en-suite has bath with shower, large washbasin, wc.
Bedroom 4 en-suite has his and hers washbasin, large walk in shower and wc.
Kitchen: Luxury fitted kitchen has large oven, hob and microwave. American fridge freezer, dishwasher, and luxury appliances e.g Dualit toaster, Siemens kettle, krupps coffee maker and LCD TV. Dining table will seat 10.
Utility Room: Wasing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment.
Living Rooms: Large lounge with 42" LCD screen TV with full sky package. The luxurious sofa could comfortably seat up to 12 people! There is a DVD player, bose system. There is also a wii and playstation for the kids (or adults!). There is also a chest of board games.
Other: There is also an outside covered seating area with large comfy sofa and chairs. For children there are an assortment of outdoor toys and games including, little tykes playhouse and sandpit. Please do ask if there is anything else you may need!
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All towels, bedlinen and dining linen is included. The price includes a housekeeper/cleaner for 2 hours per day, 6 days per week. Gabriela speaks excellent English and is happy to work extra hours cleaning or babysitting if required (extra charge).

 

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have separate air-conditioning units. There is also underfloor heating to all rooms. The house is particularly spacious and would come into its own for families.

Accessibility
The house has alternative access for people who are unable to use steps. It also has ground floor bedrooms which would be suitable for wheelchair access.

Outside
The outdoor area is a particular feature to this property. Unfortunately, we have only just decided to rent this villa for the first time this year, and only have limited photos which have been taken this winter. I feel they do not do the property justice and we will upload more photos as soon as the weather permits us to arrange the outdoor furniture. I hope you can gauge an idea from the description and the limited photos we have on at present. There is lots of outdoor space from large lawned areas to a hilly rustic orchard. There are lots of interesting plants and trees and not forgetting our many fruit trees! The pool area is large and contemporary and has solid wood sunbeds, tables and chairs. There is a wonderful sea view from the pool area and upstairs bedroom suites.

Coast/Beach
Many beaches within 10-15 mins drive. Nearest beach is Vale do Lobo.

Golf
Close to numerous golf courses (10-15mins drive). Vale do lobo and Quinta do lago, Vilamoura and Vila Sol.

Special interest holidays
Quad biking and paintball can be arranged.

Travel
Faro 20 mins drive.

Almancil 5 mins.
Apolonia Supermarket 5 mins.
Loule 5 mins.
Vale do Lobo 10 mins.
Quinta do Lago 12 mins.

Further details
Apolonia is the Algarve's premium supermarket (our equivalent to Fortnum and Mason!) and only 5 mins away!
English doctor is in Qunita do Lago.
Henriqhe Leis (one of 3 local Michelin star restaurants) 5 mins away.
Most of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo top restaurants are situated nearby within a 10 minute drive.
