By the picturesque seaside village of Carvoeiro, the lovely 'Casa Margarida' is within easy reach of some of the Algarve's finest beaches and highly rated golf courses. Traditional in style and furnishing, it features extensive terracing amid mature gardens of cascading Iberian colours, with views towards the Monchique Mountains. Accessibility
The pool is gated for the security of small children.
There is a single step from the driveway to the house. The main pool is on a lower terrace to the house and down 6 steps.

Outside
The villa is set within an acre of terraces and beautiful mature gardens providing both a great deal of privacy and seclusion but also views out into the surrounding green belt, farmland, orchards and the Monchique Mountains.
The private pool is heated to allow year round swimming and is surrounded by a secluded walled and gated sun terrace. Sun loungers with cushions, patio chairs and sun shades are provided. A BBQ area is provided on a separate terrace with tiled table and chairs. The pool and BBQ terraces can be lit at night for al-fresco eating and swimming. A roof terrace with extensive views of the surrounding countryside is an ideal location for an evening drink whilst watching the sun go down.

Coast/Beach
The villa is close to many golden sandy beaches with stunning cliffs and crystal clear water. The closest is Praia de Vale de Centienes, a very popular beach, 1 mile [1.6 km ] from the villa. Great for swimming, lovely sand, and a beach cafe for drinks and eats. Water sports, windsurfing, canoes can be hired at this and many of the beaches. Further afield the very beautiful quiet (apart from the occasional surfer) west coast is now easily accessible on the new motorway.

Pinta championship golf course (18 hole) 4km
Many of the Algarve's renowned golf courses are within an easy drive.

Travel
Faro Airport , 66 km (35 miles). Car hire is recommended.

Distances
The village of Carvoeiro is 1 mile (1.6 km) from the villa. Once a small fishing port, it has retained it's Portuguese character whilst also providing a wide selection of restaurants, bars, a few nightclubs, boutiques, banks, chemist and other local facilities. Silves, the historical walled town is 6 miles (10 km) inland. Portimao, the large fishing port, is 20min drive away, the Monchique mountains with the attractive spa town of Caldas da Monchique are 18 miles (30 km) inland.

Further details
Within walking distance (200m from the villa) are restaurants, local shop, tennis courts for hire and internet access. The nearest supermarket is three quarters of a mile (0.9 km) away. Nearby are excellent golf courses, along with sports complexes, cycling, fishing, horse riding and the ever-popular Aquatic Flume Parks and Zoo Marine. A brochure providing full details of leisure activities, descriptions of local beaches and reviews of restaurants is provided at the villa.
