Notes on prices
All prices are per room, for 2 people sharing, with continental breakfast.
We have built a fully equipped barbecue/kitchen area especially for the use of our guests, each with their own fridge and cupboard.
There is a 10% discount for single occupancy.

Changeover day
Flexible. Arrivals after midday,but luggage can be left.
Departures by 10.30am luggage can also be left.

Salsalito Guest House

Atlantic room can be 2 singles or a double with air conditioning, satellite TV, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer and tea and coffee facility. Bamboo room, 1 double bed, air con, satelite TV, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, radio/alarm tea and coffee facility. Sintra room, 1 double bed, air con, satellite TV, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, tea and coffee facility. Santa Fe room, 1 double bed, air con, sat TV, en-suite shower/room, hairdryer, tea and coffee facility. Santa Fe also has: Private and separate car parking entrance. Partly covered patio, consists of bamboo armchairs and sofa, table and chairs and 2 sun loungers, all overlooking the pool. There is a library, also, games; scrabble, backgammon, cards and monopoly. Salsalito is renowned for its well stocked Honour Bar! The inside honour bar seats 6 people (bar stools) and 2 leather armchairs, leading into the lounge, with a large open fireplace, 4 bar stools, table and chairs, sofa and 2 armchairs. Outside shower and WC.

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms have air-conditioning, wireless internet, hairdryers, Satellite TV, radio alarm, tea and coffee facilities.
Each bedroom sleeps max, 2 people.
For insurance purposes, children under 14 years old, are not accepted.
Massage,Aromapherapy and Hot Stone treatments are available,please book a head.
Daily maid service. Free parking. All linen and towels supplied.
Towels are also supplied for the pool area but not for the beach.

Outside
A walk-in heated swimming pool 14.50m x 6m with Jacuzzi style bubble seat. The lower terrace around the pool consists of 6 sunbeds, 3 sunshades. The Santa Fe is separate with 2 sunbeds,sofa, table, chairs and private parking. Top terrace is partly covered with bougainvillea, also a wooden table and chairs seating 8 people with a large sunshade, 2 tables seating 4. The new shared kitchen which is fully equipped, (each room has their own fridge and cupboard), leads onto a terrace with sofa, tables, chairs and a BBQ. Amongst the shaded trees are hammocks ready for the afternoon siesta!

Coast/Beach
Burgau Beach (1 min by car, 10 mins walk) a horse shoe sandy bay. The famous Beach Bar is renowned for its friendly atmoshere & staff. Enjoy relaxing on the terrace, while sipping a glass of sangria & sampling the locally caught fish. As you leave Burgau & drive towards Sagres (30 mins) stop & explore all the lovely sandy beaches,most have Beach Bars. The fabulous sandy beaches on the remote west coast (40 mins)are worth a visit, especially for the surfing, & shellfish.

Golf
There are 4 famous golf courses close by. Parque da floresta, 10 mins. Boa Vista 10 mins. Palmares 15 mins.
Pennina 20 mins.

Special interest holidays
An added attraction at salsalito are the massage, crystal healing, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage treatments, designed to melt away tension and stress, leaving you feeling relaxed and revived. It is recommended to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Travel
With the completion of the new motorway, Faro airport is now only 1 hour drive to Burgau. Lisbon airport is approximately 2 1/2 hours drive. Seville airport in Spain 3 hours.

Distances
Praia Da Luz is 5 minutes by car, with a variety of restaurants & bars. The historical town of Lagos with fabulous shops, market, bars, restaurants and Marina is approx. 10 mins by car. The most south westerly point in Europe, Sagres, is approx. 15 mins by car and then make your way up to the deserted sandy beaches along the west coast.

A day out to the Monchique moutains is a must, sample the local chicken piri piri & visit the historical town of Silves, both approx 50 mins by car.

Further details
The charming fishing village of Burgau is tucked away, overlooking the beach and beach bar, built on a hillside, its fishermen´s houses tumble down narrow cobbled streets towards the horse shoe bay. You can watch the fishermen mending their nets and launching their boats for the evening catch.

Burgau has 16 restaurants, from Portuguese, pizzerias to international cuisine all serving locally caught fish, also a wide range of friendly Bars, some specializing on Sky sports with wide screens. Luz has from indian, chinese, pizzas to local cuisine & lots of bars. Cash points in Burgau and Praia Da Luz. Banks are in Praia Da Luz and Lagos. Shops, beach, restaurants and bars all within 10 minutes walk.

Deposit of £200 per room, balance 4 weeks before arrival unless paying in Euros. Deposit for 2 nights £50.
