Air-conditioning throughout the property, safe available. Perfect holiday accommodation for both families and golfers.
Accessibility
Their is a bedroom downstairs with en-suite bathroom. Not adapted for wheelchair users.
Outside
Private secluded garden with 10 x 4m pool, barbecue and outside dining area with table and chairs for alfresco dining. Their are 8 sun loungers. It is a 2 minute walk to a choice of 2 large communal pools with childrens areas, restaurants and bars, health club and gym. The resort facilities offer a fantastic spa (at extra cost), free ice pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
Coast/Beach
Quinta do Lago beach is a beautiful quiet beach which is a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive where you can dine at an incredible fish restaurant overlooking the sea with 360 degree panoramic views of the nature reserve. Further along is Julias beach which is very popular and lively. There are 6 beach restaurants.
Golf
Quinta do Lago is home to 4 renowned courses: all are a 5 minute drive from the villa. San Lorenzo is a stunning course which has been ranked in the past as the second best course in Europe. The views are absolutely beautiful. The Pinheros Altos course provides a mental challenge due to well placed hazards. Quinta South and North are only 5 mins walk away. Quinta south has been used for the Portuguese open. In Vale Do Lobo, a 10 minute drive away, there are 2 courses, The Royal and the Ocean, both again, championship courses which are renowned for quality.
Travel
Faro airport is the nearest airport and is a 20 minute drive to the resort. Hiring a car is essential as the main Quinta square is to far to walk. You can however hire bikes at reception and explore the whole resort at your leisure.
Distances
Beautiful sandy beaches and golf courses are 2 minutes drive away. Main shopping area is a 5 minute drive and has many good restaurants, a supermarket and boutique shopping. Vale do Lobo is a small resort with a square, restaurants and live music - this is a 10 minute drive away. Almanil is a 15 minute drive away and has lots of good, cheaper restaurants, Vilamoura and Albufeira are further around the coast and around a 30 minute drive.

10 minutes walk from the villa is the water sports centre. This offers pedalos, kayaks, and sail boats for hire. There is a beach and childrens play area and restaurant. The water park - Aqua land is 30 minute drive.

Cancellation policy - 8 weeks from commencement - full rate refund. 8 weeks to 4 weeks from commencement 50% rate refund. 4 weeks to 2 weeks from commencement 25% rate refund less than 2 weeks to commencement date no rate refund.

I live in England with my wife and 2 children. My wife and I both work, but spend most of our holidays in Portugal, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country. The quality of the restaurants in the area is something to behold.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love Quinta Do Lago because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and area boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than 20 minutes drive away.
The property is just ten minutes walk from the fabulous beach. We provide beach towels so you can travel light and make the most of the great facilities including water and jet skiing.
