Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week/additional nights in UK pounds. Rental is available per night with the minimum stay being 2 nights other than Easter and July to August where the minimum stay is 1 week.

Changeover day
Changeover day is totally flexible dependant on other bookings. Normal check in time on the resort is 4pm on day of arrival and check out time is 10am on day of departure.

All Towels supplied.
Kitchen: Large fully equipped modern kitchen with built-in oven and microwave, gas hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer as well as toaster, coffee maker, iron and board. All utensils, dinner service and glasses supplied.
Living Rooms: Spacious open plan lounge/dining room opening onto large terrace with spectacular pool, golf and ocean views. Furnishings include high quality sofa, dining table and chairs, flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player with DAB Radio and ipod dock.
Other: Stairs from the living area lead to a large roof terrace which has stunning views over the resort, the beach and the golf course. The roof terrace is equipped with high quality table and chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue and has a WC.
Cleaning/towels/

The apartment is thoroughly cleaned prior to guest arrival. All bedlinen and towels are provided (including beach towels) and are changed weekly. Additional changes and cleaning can be arranged at small additional fee if required.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is in an ideal location for small families, couples and golfing groups. Local amenities on the resort include the golf clubhouse and restaurant, a supermarket, tennis courts and The Marriott 5* Hotel and Spa.

Accessibility
The apartment has a designated parking space in an underground garage. Access to the apartment is up 2 flights of steps. The apartment is divided over 3 floors with the lower floor comprising of the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom and a second bathroom. The first floor has a spacious open plan living and dining room, and a large and fully equipped modern kitchen. The second floor is comprised of the large roof terrace with spectacular views a barbecue and WC.

Outside
The apartment has 3 extensive private terraces which are all equipped with high quality outdoor furniture. One is accessed from the living/dining room, ideal for sitting and watching the sun go down over the golf course and Atlantic ocean. The terrace is ideal for alfresco dining and entertaining. The apartment also has patio doors off the kitchen and a further terrace at the rear which gets the morning sunshine, perfect for enjoying an alfresco breakfast. Stairs from the living area lead to a large roof terrace which has stunning views over the resort, the beach and the golf course. The roof terrace is equipped with high quality table and chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue and has a WC. The apartment overlooks beautifully maintained communal gardens and a heated swimming pool surrounded by a sunbathing area with palm trees and flower beds which is exclusively for residents use. For those who prefer the beach, there is a beautiful unspoilt beach literally less than 100m away.

Coast/Beach
Beach lovers will be amazed at the stunning beaches and families will be more than happy with the pools, kids clubs and range of activities in the resort. This part of the Atlantic coast is a real outdoor playground, ideal for walking, cycling, swimming, surfing (at the resort or nearby at the world famous surfing beaches of Baleal, Supertubos and more) or kite surfing. Excellent sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, sea fishing and horse riding are also available nearby.

Golf
Praia Del Rey Golf and Country Club nestles within a lush estate in pine woods and undulating sand dunes, flanked on one side by a glorious sandy beach washed by the breathtaking Atlantic rollers. Praia D'El Rey is an 18 Hole Championship Links course. It was voted Golf Resort of the Year 2007 (International Association of Golf Tour Operators Golf World), ranked 80th in the top 100 courses in the World (Golf World) and ranked 13th in Continental Europe(Golf World). British golf pro's are available for lessons and the practice facilities are outstanding with short and long game areas, and several putting greens. There are other excellent golf courses along the Atlantic coastline and inland from Praia D’el Rey within a short drive to add variety.

Special interest holidays
Just a five minute drive away, along a quiet coastal route is the famous Obidos Lagoon, one of the great natural wonders of Portugal and the perfect leisure destination for those who want to relax in communion with nature or indulge in water sports. Also nearby is the medieval town of Obidos, one of the region’s most beautiful and famous attractions built within fortified walls. Within the walls are fascinating alleys which have become home to high-class handicraft and gift shops as well as excellent bars and restaurants. Closeby, Peniche is Portugal’s largest fishing port and the industry dominates the town. It is great to take a walk along the sea wall before visiting one of the many harbour-side restaurants for fresh fish cooked on a barbecue.

Travel
Praia Del Rey is approx 50 min drive from Lisbon Airport. Flights to Lisbon are available with Monarch, TAP, BA, Easyjet and Thomson from various UK airports. Porto Airport is an alternative and is approx 2½ hour drive from Praia Del Rey. Flights to Porto are available with TAP, BA and Ryanair from various UK airports. Car hire is advisable to get around the resort and to explore the beautiful surroundings. Car hire is reasonably priced, quick and easy to collect and return at either airport.

Distances

Further details
The Silver Coast has plenty of places to visit, from quiet traditional fishing villages to wineries and vineyards. It's long sandy beaches are ideal for windsurfers, surfers and sun worshipers. Some of the country’s most impressive architectural, religious and historical sites can be found in this region. Sample mouth-watering local cuisine, in particular the seafood - accompanied of course, by the excellent local wine. Eating out is both affordable and satisfying. There are top-class restaurants to sample that are excellent value for money.

Booking notes
A 20%(non-refundable) deposit is required when booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before holiday.
Breakage deposit of £150.00 required which is refunded 14 days after stay providing there are no breakages.

We had a wonderful week in Praia del Ray and your apartment is the best we have ever stayed in!
We ventured into Obidos and just loved it there! Peniche was OK in terms of touristy stuff but we had a great seafood meal at the Popular restaurant you suggested. We also went to the Gaucho restaurant in Baleal and had a great steak on the stone; AND we managed to find the fish on the bbq at the beach nearby. Without your suggestions we would've been quite stuck.
We opted to do most of our shopping at the Pingo Doce supermarket in Obidos and it had everything we needed.
So…thank you for all the advice and the use of the apartment!! My husband played a round at Praia del Ray and said it was fantastic; he and I played 18 holes at Bom Successo, and despite almost melting in the heat, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
