The villa is fully detached surrounded only by quiet roads it faces a small forest park and has distant valley views from the top floor. This house is situated in a quiet residential area very close to Torres Vedras centre. Torres Vedras is a city and a municipality in the district of Lisbon which is approximately 50 KM from Lisbon city center. The village is located within 5 minutes of the motorways with links to North and South. This makes it very easy to get to Lisbon city center, Sintra, Mafra, Cascais and Lisbon Airport. To the north the same motorway takes you to many popular places on the Silver Coast in less than an hour. The house is located within 20 minutes away from beaches, golf and closest surfing spots.

The villa is central heated and comes with a fireplace. We also have wireless broadband throughout the villa.
Coast/Beach
The west coast of Portugal is just 15 minutes by car. There would have a wide range of beaches for all tastes. The beaches range from rugged surfing beaches to secluded beaches with crystal clear waters.
Golf
You can find roughly 20 golf courses within a maximum 50 minute drive from the villa. Many of these are great championship courses. The villa is also within easy reach of the southern part of the Silver Coast so one might want to keep this in mind when searching for golf courses on the Internet.

Torres Vedras city centre is just 5 minutes away by car. There you can find various restaurants, banks, etc.
On the way you will find one of the largest shopping malls in Portugal. This is open till 11PM at night and is ideal for all sorts of shopping. You can also find restaurants and fast food there.

The Matthews Family: This villa is ideally located and made a great base for us to explore many of the best tourist attractions such as the dramatic Portuguese coast and the towns of Mafra and Sintra. Additionally the villa is a short drive to the shops and excellent restaurants but also very close to the countryside, great for good walks. The villa itself was clean and comfortable and with all you need for your stay and we made good use of the barbecue and the pool!

About the owner
We are Nicholas, Iveta and Lilia Camilleri, maltese and bulgarian respectively both living in the UK. We went to Portugal in 2009 and fell in love with the country.
I am a Software Engineer and my wife is a Insurance professional. We subsequently decided to purchase a villa there and until we move to enjoy it ourselves we decided to rent it for other people to enjoy whilst visiting this amazing country.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the property with us in mind but also thought that it would have to be in a good spot for tourists given that we plan to let it for a long time to come.
The property is perfectly situated close to Lisbon Center, Mafra, Sintra and Cascais whilst at the same time being close to the less commercial places towards the north. It is also close to many beaches and golf courses.
Altough the property is situated in a very quite area with a small forest in front, it is just 5 minutes drive from the A8 motorway which has links to all the great places one would like to visit while in Portugal.
