The beach is a short drive away (10 minutes takes you to Vilamoura beach). Large waterpark just outside of the Vila Sol complex (5 minutes away).
Golf
Villa sits on the Vila Sol golf resort (27 holes). Starters box is 2/3 minutes from house. House is close to all of the other Vilamoura courses.
Travel
Vila Sol is no more than 20 minutes from Faro Airport.
Distances
Vilamoura marina is only a 10 minute drive away. Faro shopping is 20 minutes drive. The old town of Loule is again only 10 minutes drive and has good shopping and a weekend market. nearest supermarket is just outside the resort (Pingo Doce) and there is a small shop on site. Also on site is a Fench deli/cafe as well as Oscars Bar.
Further details
On site there is a pub, restaurant, hotel (with excellent cuisine), Deli, SPAR style store and a SPA as well as the golf course and a golf academy.

About the owner
My wife and I live in Angus Scotland. My passion is golf, my home course being Carnoustie. We chose Vila Sol as a base in the Algarve simply because it is beautiful with a wonderful resort course! My 2 daughters (and now my new grandson) love to visit as the area can offer peace and tranquility or fun and entertainment. The kids like a mixture of both. The marina at Vilamoura is only a 5 minute drive in a taxi and offers food music and entertainment.
