Our villa is perfect for discerning families and friends looking for an extremely private luxurious holiday, in a modern extremely well equipped 5 star villa. The property took 2 years to build to our design and we have been adding the finishing touches since it's completion in December of 2007. The villa is very much our home from home with all the mod cons you would expect and due to business travel commitments throughout 2011 we have decided to make our beautiful property available for holiday lettings. Nestled in the hilltops over looking Loule the villa benefits from professionally landscaped and well maintained grounds and a large heated pool. The formal gardens lead down the hill to a completely secure wire fenced area of over 2 acres of trees and scrub. The property offers quiet seclusion in complete luxury surroundings with large gardens boasting 180º sea views and incredible sunsets, the perfect setting to escape to and indulge yourself, your family and friends.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. A 25% deposit is required to confirm any booking with the balance due 6 weeks before your stay. A damage/breakages deposit will also be held for the duration of your stay. Discounts maybe available for long term rental (3 weeks or more) and long term winter rental too. Notes on accommodation
The whole property has climate controlled air conditioning, under floor heating, a large enclosed log burning stove.
Accessibility
Given the secluded location in the hills we do not feel that our property would be suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Formal garden area with large dining terrace, plenty of high quality garden furniture, loungers, chairs etc.
Gas BBQ, patio heater (never been needed!) very well lit grounds for dining in the evening. 12cx6mr pool with pool heating.
Coast/Beach
Casa Garonga is only 25 minutes from Faro airport and the beautiful beaches of the Algarve are only 15 minutes drive.
Golf
Given the perfect central location of our property in the Algarve, there are plenty of golf courses on offer.
Special interest holidays
The Algarves designer shops of Quinta do Lago and famous restaurants in and around Vale do Lobo are only 20 minutes drive. The large shopping centres in Faro and Guia and the Algarves new motor race circuit (Autodromo internacional algarve) are all in easy reach.
Travel
Casa Garonga is only 25 minutes from Faro airport and given the hill top location of our villa car hire is essential. We know an English speaking licensed driver very well, who can be booked for evenings, trips, airport transfers etc etc.

Casa Garonga is only 25 minutes from Faro airport and the beautiful beaches of the Algarve are only 15 minutes drive.
Further details
There is an excellent restaurant nearby with plenty of other eateries in Loule which is only 5 minutes drive. Loule town is rich in history with it's famous Saturday food market and well known carnivals, concerts and cultural events throughout the year. There are also plenty of shops, supermarkets etc in the local area.
The area has many beautiful beaches, towns and places of historical interest. The beautiful mountains of Monchique are also well worth a visit.
The food is great, as are the people. There is alot to do with many international standard golf courses, fishing, dolphin safaris, water sports, horse riding, hiking, water parks, a zoo etc etc etc (all within 30 minutes drive)
The vibrant city of Lisbon is around two and a half hours drive away.

About the owner
My husband and I are professionals in our mid 30's and live near Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire with our 2 daughters. We run a couple of different businesses and with our hectic work schedules our relaxation time together is very important.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
My husband visited Portugal many times as a child and has fond memories of it. It has changed quite a lot in 20 years but we fell in love with the area all over again!
We looked at hundreds of villas around the whole of the Algarve until one day we were persuaded to look at a plot with planning permission. The views captivated us instantly. It was a long process and not without typical overseas building issues but the end result was worth every minute. We love the fact that the villa and grounds are private and away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts but not too remote. Loule is a fabulous town and retains more Portuguese charm than many of the coastal areas.
Unique benefits of the property
We love the "home from home" feel that we have created at the property. We have ensured that it is fully equipped and luxuriously comfortable and a place where we can go and completely switch off from our hectic lives at home. The biggest luxury is the views and privacy. Situated quite high above sea level, the views of the central Algarve coastline is stunning and when the sun sets in the evening it is quite simply, breathtaking. We are very lucky to have fantastic restaurants within a close proximity but also a fabulous market in the beautiful 100 year old Moorish Market place in Loule. Every Saturday you can purchase an incredible array of local fish, meats, vegetables, olives etc with which to create your own culinary masterpiece in our perfectly equipped kitchen.
