Boavista is an attractive and spacious villa set on a hillside with stunning sea views from Olhao to Vilamoura. It is a very quiet location with no neighbours. Together with the kitchen the dining and sitting rooms have direct access to a partly covered terrace with steps down to a good sized pool ,and second patio area,which is fenced all round. The garden is landscaped with a variety of shrubs and fruit trees and there is a large parking area.All rooms have individual air conditioning units and fans (this includes all bedrooms, lounge and dining room) The lounge has an open fire and TV with UK channels. It is a 20 mins drive from Faro airport, and five minutes from the motorway.(which is behind the hills so you can not hear!). There is an excellent choice of restaurants nearby with superb beaches and several golf courses including Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura within 30 minutes. It is a 10 minute walk to Estoi, a typical Algarvian peaceful historic Country Town with a Grand Palace.

Changeover day
For 2012 the change over day will be usually be Thursday, but can be negotiated.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is situated in a quiet location with only one other house nearby (the owner of which is only there on holidays). Air-conditioning and heating.
Outside
Large, partly covered terrace. Steps down to the pool,which is fenced for young children. The property is fenced and has security lights and an electric gate. The garden has lots of shrubs and flowers. Garage and large parking area. BBQ by the pool 8 sunloungers and other garden furniture.
Coast/Beach
The best and closest beaches are at Praja de Ancao, Faro Island and Fuzeta all under half an hour away. The beaches at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are also easily accessible.
Golf
Several Golf courses are 30 mins drive including those at at Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo,Vilamoura and Tavira. The Spanish border courses can be reached in under the hour. 5 minutes to motorway though all noise hidden by the hills.
Travel
Faro airport is 20 minutes drive. Car hire recommended.
Distances
5 minutes drive or 10 minute walk, to Estoi, small daily fish and vegetable market and cafe/restaurants. Loule famous Saturday market 15 mins away.Olhoa market 15 mins drive, for meat fish and vegetables a must to visit.
Easy distance of Tavira, Saville 90mins and Lisbon 2.5 hours, The Ria National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and bird watching.
Further details
Estoi is a charming Portuguese village with several small supermarkets cafes and restaurants. The Palacio of Estoi has recently been restored, and Roman Ruins of Milreu are well worth a visit.

A 20% deposit is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.

About the owner
The villa is owned jointly with my brother and is essentially a place for family holidays. He lives in Bristol has 3 children and 5 grandchildren, we live in Warwickshire and have two daughters one of whom was recently married and spent her hen week out at the villa. All children and grandchildren love the villa and visit at least once a year, being only 20 mins from Faro airport is a big plus for all. We are all keen sportsmen and play golf and tennis whilst out in Portugal.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We all love being in real Portugal, lots of sport and walks. The villa with its spectacular views out to sea, is on the edge of a lovely Portuguese village with no neighbours.
