This private villa has all the luxury and comfort for a great stay and within a short (walking) distance of several beautiful beaches (like Marinha, Albandeira and Benagil) and many Golf courses within 10 mins drive. Comfortable walking area from the door. Local activities include golf, horse riding, diving, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, windsurfing and water skiing. Restaurants and family attractions like Slide and Splash, Aqualand and Zoomarine are easily reachable by car.

Notes on prices: The rent is based on staying with four people and includes: bed linen and towels, use of swimming pool, washing machine, dishwasher, gas, water and electricity * (* During the months November to March excluding electricity), cleaning 1x per week (including changing bed linen) and final cleaning. Extra costs when more than 4 persons: £ 80 per person/per week. Discount for second week available in low season. Discounted long-term winter lets available.
Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible. The Villa will be available from 3pm on arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure. We will try to accommodate any reasonable variations on these timings.

Notes on accommodation
Vila Soalheiro is a non-smoking villa.
The living area and the 3 bedrooms have air conditioning for the summer months and heating for the winter evenings. Two bathrooms have heaters. Electricity is included in the rental rates from April to October. It will be metered and charged separately from November to March.
Recent refurbishment makes this a top quality rental. There is also an alarm system for added security and a safe. We are child friendly and can provide the use of a cot / junior bed and highchair at no extra cost.
Outside
There are extensive terrace areas for sunbathing. The private swimming pool is 10 x 5m with a lovely shower. There are plenty of tables and chairs for outside eating or to relax on in the garden and on the first floor with stunning sea views. Veranda with 2 chairs overlooking the pool. Furniture includes 6 dining chairs and large table, 3 lounger, lounge-sit over covered and BBQ facilities. There are a variety of shrubs, palm trees, cacti and various fruit trees.
Coast/Beach
There are several lovely beaches a few mins away, like the superb beaches Albandeira and Pr.da Marina. The quaint fishing village of Benagil is a 5 minute drive, with several restaurants and a small sandy cove. Numerous beaches locally within a 10 minute drive of the villa.
Carvoeiro 7km away is one of the Algarve's bustling fishing villages with plenty of shops, banks, restaurants, bars and a beautiful sandy beach. Armação de Pera (10mins), boasting one of the finest longest sandy beaches.
Golf
There are many golf courses within a 10 minute drive. One being a Par 3 at Carvoeiro (Vale do Milho) and the other 2 being on the Pestana Resort at Carvoeiro which are 2 x 18-hole championship golf courses at Pinta and Gramacho, together with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. And the new course Silves Golf just opened late 2006. Also the Oceanico Almendoeiro Golf Resort is nearby.
Many other championship courses are a short drive away. You’ll find a Golf prospectus in the villa. Carvoeiro Tennis Club is about 20 mins drive away.
Travel
Faro airport is a 45 minute drive from the villa 55km approx. Car hire is essential for this villa and recommended as there is so much to see and do in the Algarve.

Distances
Caramujeira s a rural area about a 2 mins drive from the EN 125 exit near the Intern. School, Porches). Just outside Carvoeiro (8 mins) there are 2 large Supermarkets for all your needs. Lovely beaches, nice old towns, banks, shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy reach, but a car is required in this location. Albufeira (30 mins) Portimao and his famous beach Praia da Rocha (20 mins). Guia Algarve Shopping 20 mins, Lagos, a old charming town and the cosmopolitan Marina in 30 mins.
Further details
The Algarve, with more than 300 days of sunshine per year, is perfect for walking, sightseeing and cycling and for all the sports you can imagine, like surfing, karting, golf, kayaking and even extreme sports such as skydiving, rock climbing and wake boarding. There is a riding school nearby 3 mins and tennis and diving clubs in Carvoeiro. Families can enjoy 2 big Water Slide Parks 10 mins drive Slide & Splash(Lagoa) and Aqualand (EN 125-Alcantarilha). Zoo Marine (EN 125-Guia-Albufeira) within 20 mins drive, with Dolphins and high dive show. Boat trips along the coast (with dinghy rides into the caves or looking for dolphins). You’ll find a lot of information in the villa about the region and all these activities. The owners of the villa, will meet you on arrival to welcome you to your holiday home and will be available to answer all your questions. The Algarve, Europe's sunniest spot, is waiting for you! A number of banks with cash machines and a wide range of smaller shops are provided at Carvoeiro and Lagoa, approx 8 mins drive. The seaside village of Carvoeiro is on some of the most fantastic coastline of the Algarve - a maze of cliffs, caves and grottos set in clear blue waters. This small fishing village has a small beach and attractive square and benefits from a range of restaurants and bars to suit most tastes. Ferragudo 15 mins which still remains as a virtually un-spoilt small fishing village with nice sandy beaches. Porches 5 mins drive, houses some of the best traditional Potteries in the Algarve. Portimao 20 mins, today is really all about shopping (AQUA centr)and sardines and is located at the mouth of the River Arade, it provides a natural harbor. On the river front near the square with the cafés, many different boat tours and deep sea-fishing outings can be booked. A boat Marina is opened adjoining Praia da Rocha. Outside of Portimão, you’ll find Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, a International race circuit with many champignon ships and events.
Booking notes
A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your accommodation is due at the time of booking. The remainder is due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Bookings made within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday must be paid for in full at the time of booking. A security deposit of £95 will be required with final payment. This will be returned within a fortnight of departure from the property. All clients agree to report any damage to the property or its contents as soon as possible during their stay.
