The thick stone walls maintain a cool interior even on the hottest of days, whilst an open fire will help keep you warm during a winter visit. On the ground floor, the accommodation comprises four bedrooms, each opening out onto a large balcony and each with its own private bathroom. The first floor contains a large open plan living area and kitchen, leading to a second terrace that overlooks the private 10 by 5 metre swimming pool. The upper floor houses the extensive games room where you will find a pool table, a casino table and a cinema area. This fully equipped villa will provide everything you need for a wonderful holiday in the middle of the lush Portuguese countryside.

25% deposit required with all bookings and balance due 8 weeks before arrival.
A £300 refundable deposit for breakages is required with the final payment. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure, after inspection of the property. Please contact us for shorter or longer lets and prices.

Notes on accommodation
Two covered terraces both extending the whole length of the property with fantastic views. Outdoor table and chairs and BBQ are provided. Thick stone walls keep the villa cool throughout the summer months without the need for air-conditioning. The property has under floor heating which can be used in winter months. Please note we have a non-smoking policy for the villa. High chair and cot available. Sorry, no pets.
Accessibility
Ample parking for cars to the front of the property. The villa is positioned on a hillside and the pool is reached via steps, so possibly not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
10x5 metre private swimming pool. Outdoor sun loungers for the pool area with plenty of space for sunbathing. Large private garden with olive trees, oak trees, fig, orange and apple trees.
Coast/Beach
Castelo do Bode river beach 0.5km from villa.
Golf
Golf courses in the Ribatejo area.
Skiing
Serra da Estrela.
Travel
Lisbon Airport is about 1 hour 15 mins drive along the A1 and A23 motorway (easy to follow directions provided). EasyJet, Monarch, BMI Baby, TAP and BA fly into Lisbon. Porto Airport is approximately 2 hours 15 mins drive. (Ryanair, TAP). A car is essential to appreciate this unspoilt area of Portugal.

Local shop, butcher, post office and cafe/bar in Serra which can be walked in 20 mins or a 5 minute drive. Larger supermarkets and many restaurants serving typical Portuguese food can be found in Tomar within a 15 min drive.
