Besides its peaceful location and splendid lawns, this house's attractiveness relies upon its unique design, work of the award-winning architect Eduardo Souto Moura, who at the owner's request conceived the loveliest and most functional building that could be integrated into this terraced slope. To one side the house connects to an old ruin in perfect harmony and from all the rooms big windows open directly to the garden.
