The apartment has a large balcony with table and chairs. The hotel has 2 pools. One is for children only.
Coast/Beach
Falesia beach is about 10 minutes walk (800 metres). Falesia is famous for the long sandy beaches with interesting rock formations. Wonderful also for walking in spring, autumn, and winter, if too cold to swim.
Golf
There are several good golf courses in the area, the closest is only about 10-15 minutes walk. Further options are in Vilamoura.
Travel
Faro airport is about 30 minutes from Stella Maris by car. Cars can be hired at the airport. The hotel offers airport transfer, which can be arranged.
Distances
Albufeira is a short drive away (10 minutes), but there is also a bus going into Albufeira. Other nice places to go to are Loule, Silves with its castle, Portimao.

There are shops, a supermarket, and restaurants close by, as well as a cash machine.

I love the area, and feel very at home in the hotel. I love to explore the Algarve, and enjoy the golf courses there. One of my sons enjoys a beach holiday, the other a golfing holiday, so the place is perfect.
