At the 'restaurant village' of Guia, in the central Algarve, just 10 minutes drive from Albufeira, and around 7 minutes drive fom the beautiful sandy coves of Evaristo, Sao Rafael, Castelo, Sao Lourenco, and the long sany beach of Gale. Our villa is situated close to Sir Cliff Richard’s villa, and his vineyard which can be visited on a tour. The village of Guia boasts around 20 restaurants, offering everything from chicken piri-piri to fine French cuisine, and the village is just 10 minutes walk from Villa Neill. There is also a typical Portuguese restaurant just a few minutes walk from the villa, but a short stroll takes you into the village where you will find a good choice of restaurants, a supermarket, butchers and newsagents, chemist and banks. Preferred changeover day is Thursday but this can be flexible depending on other bookings and season.

Outside are the neat attractive gardens, barbecue, and private swimming pool, which can be heated at extra cost during the winter, early and late season ensuring that you can really enjoy your holiday to the full. The villa overlooks beautiful estate gardens, which give you a feeling of privacy and spaciousness.
Coast/Beach
The superb beaches of Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castello, Lourenco and Gale are all within 5-10 minutes drive. Each beach has a beach bar / restaurant and some have water sports facilities. All the beaches in the area have fine sand, and some have dramatic rocky outcrops.

One supermarket and numerous restaurants within 10 minutes walk ,and several more supermarkets are within a few minutes drive. The new Algarve Shopping Center is approx. 3 minutes drive away. The Zoo marine theme and watersports park is 5 minutes drive away.
Booking notes
Deposit required is 25% of rental with balance paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £250 is required.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought this property mainly because of its very convenient position near the lovely village of Guia. There are an amazing number of restaurants in this village, together with a supermarket, butchers, newsagent, hairdresser, banks, wine shops etc. You can walk into the village in 10 minutes.
Unique benefits of the property
The local delicacy is chicken piri piri. Chicken slowly grilled over charcoal and basted with piri piri sauce and then cut up into bight size portions. It's delicious. You can visit the restaurants on foot without worrying about driving.
The villa is quite private and is situated next to the large communal gardens.
