Villa Alfarroba is set in its own beautiful mature gardens with carob trees, yucca and other typically Mediterranean plants, such as lavender, hibiscus, oleander and bougainvillea. The villa is located in an elevated position in a quiet part of Clube Albufeira and is built to a traditional Portuguese design. It has a fully fitted, modern and extensively equipped kitchen with separate utility room and washing machine. The spacious lounge/dining area has a wood burning fire with double sofa bed, sky free to view television, DVD, CD player and radio. The marble dining table will seat 8. Lounge doors open onto a large south facing veranda with modern furniture. The two large twin bedded rooms both have fitted wardrobes and adjoining en-suites. There is a further separate WC and wash basin. Extensive facilities outside include, barbecue, dining furniture and sun loungers. Guests may use all the facilities of the resort, including the free bus to/from Albufeira Old Town and beaches.

Changeover day
Change over days are flexible. The villa is available from 3.00pm on day of arrival (may be sooner if not immediately following another booking) and must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Both bedrooms have twin beds and a single futon with ensuite bathrooms, fully fitted wardrobes and french doors leading onto the garden. Both bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. |
| Bathrooms: | Both en-suite bathrooms contain a bath with shower over, toilet, bidet and and wash hand basin set in a marble top with cupboards underneath. There is a separate toilet and washbasin accessed from the hallway. |
| Kitchen: | Modern fitted kitchen with granite worktops and back-splash with integrated fridge and freezer and dishwasher. Built in electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave oven, toaster, juicer and all equipment necessary for full family cooking. |
| Utility Room: | The utility room contains a washing machine, washing powder, ironing board, iron, outside clothes airer and cleaning materials. |
| Living Rooms: | The air-conditioned spacious lounge/dining area has a double sofa bed, matching chair and two extra seats. There is a wood burning stove for cooler evenings, Sky free to view TV, DVD, CD player and radio, numerous board games and books for your enjoyment. |
| Other: | French windows lead from the lounge to south facing veranda with modern patio furniture. Ideal for a leisurely breakfast or evening aperitif. |

All bed linen and towels are provided, except for beach/pool towels and are changed after one week for two week stays. A washing machine and powder are provided should you require further washing to be done. |

Notes on accommodation
All rooms fully air-conditioned. Wood burning stove is cosy for cooler evenings. The villa is ideal for couples or families with children.
Accessibility
Unfortunately because of steps inside, this property is unsuitable for people in wheelchairs.
Outside
There is a shaded dining table and chairs in the garden and a further dining table and chairs on the roof terrace where there is a built in barbecue. There are also sun-loungers to enjoy the wonderful climate.
Coast/Beach
Albufeira old town is less than 2km away with access to beautiful fine sandy beaches and if you don't have a car you can get there on the free bus which goes twice a day. There is a local bus stop just across the main road which runs every half hour. If you have a car it is worth exploring the many unspoiled little coves and beaches along the coast for which this area is renowned.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses on the Algarve all within easy reach of the villa.
Travel
Faro International Airport is about 38kms away and takes around half an hour on the motorway or slightly longer on the main road. Transfers can be arranged and paid locally. A car is not essential but is handy if you want to visit some of the quieter beaches, play golf or visit the Algarve Shopping centre. Reception can arrange trips to water parks etc.
Distances
The nearby motorway can take you to historic Lisbon in about 2 hours or about the same time to Seville in Spain.
Booking notes
Good discount on long term rentals and daily rates available on request. Change over days are flexible and availability is all year. 20% deposit payable on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before holiday. £100 deposit cheque to be given with balance payment to be held against any damages and refunded within 14 days after holiday. Prices inclusive of all utilities in the villa and Club facilities.

Just to say that we had a fantastic holiday and absolutely loved the villa. A real home from home and great location from which to do all we wanted to do -Slide and Splash, Zoo Marine, Algarve shopping centre etc. The weather was also very good with only one day of rain in the fortnight which is very lucky for this time of year. If we are back in the area in the future I would have no hesitation in booking Villa Alfarroba again and we will certainly recommend it to friends. Thanks again from all of us.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in your villa.We felt so comfortable there that we spent most of the week on site, and the weather was perfect - not too hot! We really appreciated being picked up and dropped off at the airport. Thank you for leaving some food in the fridge for us, it made all the difference to our first night.
