Numerous golf courses nearby including the golf resort of Praia Del Rey and Bom Successo which are both only 15 minutes away.

Notes on accommodation
The property has bright tiled floors throughout. There is no central heating in the property however electric heaters are provided. A safe is available in the master bedroom.
Accessibility
There are 3 steps as well as a grassed ramp to the side leading down to the property, all bedrooms are on the first floor.
Outside
Large enclosed garden with built in brick BBQ area, with the possibilty to gate off the back garden area to make it easier to mind children. Ideal for families, children’s playhouse and slide available on request. Outdoor dining table, chairs and sun loungers so you can relax in the garden and enjoy the sunshine. One side of the house is lined with fruit trees, orange, lemon, pear, peach, apple and olive.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes from the stunning beach in Baleal, popular with families and surfers. Foz Do Arelho and Obidos lagoon is about 25 minutes away.
Golf
Ideal for golf enthusiasts with many golf courses nearby. The award winning resort of Praia D'el Rey and Bom Successo are only 10 and 15 minutes away. Golden Eagle is about a 20 minute drive, and Campo Real about 45 mins.
Special interest holidays
Waterskiing and sailing schools can be found on the Obidos lagoon, diving and surfing lessons are available in Peniche and Baleal. Ideal location for road cycling, breathtaking views and small towns to navigate through.
Travel
Lisbon airport is an approximate 50 minute drive. Car hire is essential.
Distances
The villa is superbly located to explore this beautiful region. The walled ancient medieval town of Obidos is a must for all visitors to the Silver Coast and is only a 15 minute drive from the villa. Caldas da Rainha main local town with a large park, cafes, supermarkets, traditional shops and markets is also only 15 minutes away. Peniche is a busy fishing town with a large harbour and some excellent seafood restaurants and can be reached in 10 minutes.

About the owner
I live in Ireland with my husband and three children. We love to escape the rain and head off too sunny Portugal whenever we can. Myself and the children have spent entire summers in Portugal but now that our eldest child has started school we are restricted to school holidays and decided to let the property.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love this area of Portugal and had spent holidays here before buying. We choose this house for its location. If we jump in the car we can be in a historic town, beach side cafe, on the golf course, at a fishing port or shopping area in 10/15 mins, depending on which direction we take! The kids love the garden and when they are happy, so are we! Great for them to play freely and for us to chill out and have a BBQ.
Unique benefits of the property
Our house is situated in a very traditional Portuguese village, it is quiet and tranquil without being remote. As we have small children and have taken them here as babies the house is equipped with a full size cot, highchair, baby bath etc so no need for us to worry about bringing the kitchen sink when we travel! It's a home from home.
