Parque da Corcovada was a new complex in 2008. Our bright, spacious ground floor apartment offers contemporary, high standard accommodation.
This apartment can sleep up to 4 guests and boasts air-conditioning, a fully integrated kitchen, 32' LCD TV, Satellite TV(UK channels), selection of DVDs.
3 patio doors lead to a fabulous, south facing terrace of 31sqm, with own sun-loungers, situated in beautiful landscaped gardens and overlooking pools. Private underground car parking.
It is located in central Albufeira and is close to a wide range of quality restaurants and cafes, supermarkets and entertainment. The nearest beaches are within walking distance and the ‘Old Town’ is a short taxi ride away, the location will appeal to all age groups.
Faro airport is 37km away - we can advise on transfers. Close to the famous Zoo Marine, Slide and Splash Water Park.

Changeover day
Our apartment is available for rent throughout the year. We aim to be flexible regarding departure/arrival times on changeover day but clients should expect to vacate the apartment by 11am.

Notes on accommodation
The main entrance to the apartment is accessed by key, with video-phone door release from inside. All window and door shutters are electrically operated for security and convenience. Safe provided. Pool & garden area are accessible only to key-holders of this block. While living room has air-con for summer months, there is also a HeatWafer to provide background warmth in cooler seasons.
Cot, high chair and 'Welcome' Food Packs are available at additional cost if requested in advance.
Our apartment is managed locally by Celia and Terry, who will ensure you are met on arrival to hand over keys and offer advice on locality, they are available 24/7 for emergencies.
No smoking allowed in apartment.

Outside
The 31sqm south facing terrace is furnished with table and 4 chairs for secluded alfresco dining, 2 comfortable loungers and parasol offering the opportunity to enjoy sunshine from early morning, then while the apartment and terrace offer welcome shade, the pools are just a few steps away where you can continue to enjoy sunshine until early evening. The pool and garden area is accessible only to key-holders of Block 37.
Coast/Beach
The Algarve is a truly beautiful area with a climate as warm as the welcome you'll receive from its hospitable people. For fabulous beaches you need go no further than Albufeira. The closest beach to Parque da Corcovada is Praia Oura 15-20 mins walk, Praia Sta Eulalia 15-20 mins or 5 mins by car, however there is no shortage of stunning golden beaches and coves to be discovered all along the coastline.
Golf
The nearest golf course is just 5 mins away - Balaia golf. It is a decent par 3 course and all equipment can be hired there.
The selection of top class courses, including Salgados, Vilamoura etc are just a short drive away and golfing can easily be arranged either locally or prior to departure.
Travel
Faro Airport is 37 km from Parque da Corcovada, for those not hiring a car, we can advise on airport transfers.
Distances
From Albufeira, Faro 40km, Lagos 45km, Portimao 35km, Tavira 60km, Vilamoura 22km and Lisbon 256km. The complex is a short walk from many good local restaurants and bars. The 'Old Town' is well worth a visit, day or evening, for its vibrant atmosphere, choice of dining and beautiful location on Fisherman's Beach, it is approx 5 Euro by taxi or 30 mins walk from Corcovada.
Booking notes
Deposit of 30% payable to secure booking with balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. A refundable deposit of £200 is payable to cover accidental damage and this will usually be refunded within 7 days of departure upon confirmation of no damage. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer.
