There are friendly cats and dogs to cuddle. The cottage has 65sq.m of covered area comprising of lounge/kitchen/diner, bedroom and bathroom.

Living Rooms: A wood burning stove ensures cosy evenings in front of the satellite TV.
Other: There is ample wardrobe space. The cottage has a lovely rustic feel with traditional cane ceiling and clay floor tiles.

Outside
The cottage has shared use of the 10x5m unheated pool set in the walled courtyard of the main house 40m away. (See Owners Direct ref. P7525). The pretty sitting out areas front and back are perfect for B.B.Q.s. The grounds are partly gardened but mainly typical Algarve scrub; a haven for birds and wildlife.

Coast/Beach
It is a 2km walk to the nearest coast. There is stunning countryside and wonderful cliff top walks. The beaches at Albandeira, Marinha and Benagil are also close by. The area down the valley and towards the sea is a 'Reserva'. Perfect for nature lovers, who are wowed by sea views and a wide variety of birds and wild flowers.

Golf
The property is ideally located for the many golf courses of the Algarve. The par 3 course for beginners at Vale do Milho and the more demanding courses of Gramacho and Vale da Pinta are 5 minutes away with the championship courses of Penina, Amendoeiras, Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago within easy reach.

Travel
The cottage is approx 55km from Faro international airport, which has good links to all major British airports. With the motorway link 15 minutes away, the journey is easy. Taxis are readily available, but car hire is essential to gain the best from this location.

Distances
The Monchique mountains are 30 minutes away by car and en-route is the historic and beautiful town of Silves, which has a moorish Castle and a Roman bridge. Good riverside fish and chicken piri-piri restaurants too.
The furthermost point of Europe, Cape St Vicent, which is well worth a visit to, is less than hour away.

Further details
There are numerous restaurants close by, the nearest being "Brasserie Rosal" at Quinta do Rosal in Vale D'El Rei, and the larger towns of Carvoeiro, Lagoa and Armacao de Pera are all within easy reach, giving a more extensive range of restaurants and shopping. The Algarve Shopping Centre and Portimao are a 20 minute drive away. The Dolphins at Zoomarine are ever popular.
