This is an ideal couple's holiday home located near Lisbon, just 25 mins drive from Lisbon and 5 mins drive to Costa de Caparica. The apartment is situated in a natural reserve area, in a quiet rural location, with views overlooking landscaped gardens and a working well. Costa de Caparica, a beach area with 15km of sandy beaches and good fish restaurants. The apartment is situated near the 'Convento de Capuchos' a national heritage site. Notes on prices
Prices are per week in UK pounds and a deposit of £150 per week will be required to confirm the booking. The balance to be paid in euros upon arrival at the apartment.
Changeover day
Flexible. Check in is at 4pm. Check out is at 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and suitable for a couple or a couple with 1 or 2 young children as the sofa in the living room converts into a bed.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users. No pets.
Outside
Private tiled terraced area with barbecue and garden furniture, overlooking landscaped area, working water well and fig tree area.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are at Costa da Caparica, only 5 minutes away. This area has 15km of sandy beaches and dunes, surfing and windsurfing is available. Recently hosted the world surf championship. Costa da Caparica has many fine fish restaurants. A new park recently open in Caparica with picnic areas, bike trials, tennis courts, children's playground, and cafes. Costa da Caparica's promenade as recently been redeveloped with new restaurants and bars.
Golf
Melia capuchos hotel golf course is just 5 min drive from the apartment. Aroreia golf course 18 hole only a 10 minute drive away. Quinta da Peru golf course is 30 minutes drive away.
Travel
The apartment is just 25 mins from the Lisbon International Airport. Costa da Caparica has a bus terminal which serves all the major amenities in the area. Pragal which is 15 minutes from the villa has a train station that serves Lisbon and the southern part of Portugal.

Further details
A large shopping centre is nearby to the apartment called Almada Forum which provides food, shops and cinemas, just 7 min drive, with free parking. Horse riding classes are available, just 3 mins walking distance. Country walks in the Natural Reserve overlooking the sea, ideal for morning walks. Water sports at the beaches, including surf and windsurf. Costa de Caparica has many fine fish restaurants. 'Covento dos Capuchos' is only 10 mins walking from the villa, its a old church newly restored, surrounded by beautiful gardens overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy a nice time with your family, ideal for picnics. A new large supermarket opened recently just 600 meters from the apartment, with ATM machine, bakery, fishmonger and coffee shop.

About the owner
I live and work in Portugal and we live very near to Villa Amaro.(Ref. P3867). We also have an apartment (Ref P7209) which was also restored and is part of our family homes.
The owners are both English and Portuguese and that gives us a great insight into Portugal. We are always trying to improve the apartment so any comments tenants make are discussed by the family and usually acted upon.
