Serra Vista is a restored Algarvian house, situated in the ridge top village of Cumeada overlooking the orange groves of Silves valley. The views are spectacular, with Monchique mountains in the distance and the coastline to the south. A country location,yet you are only a 20 - 30 minute drive to many beaches, coastal resorts, golf courses, water parks and many other attractions. Only 10 minutes from the historic town of Silves with its redstone castle and cathedral. The house is both comfortable and cool in relaxing surroundings. The pool is solar heated with underwater lighting for evening dips, there is plenty of room around the pool also a large shaded outside dining area and barbeque. Air-conditioned lounge with satellite television, country styled kitchen with all modern equipment. As well as outside dining facilities,we have a separate dining room. This house sleeps 6 comfortably. Child's play area with swings slide etc. Roof terrace with panoramic costal/ mountain views.

Outside
Patio and wooden decked area with 5 sunbeds, barbeque, outside dining area, 9.5m solar heated swimming pool with shallow seated jacuzzi area. Also back terrace with grapevine covered cafe table. Specatular mountain sunset view. Roof terrace with outstanding views. Child's play area with swings slides etc.
Coast/Beach
Serravista is excellently situated to visit the Algarves famous golden sandy beaches, a 20 to 30 min drive would give you the choice of at least 10 beach resorts. Also 3 marinas all of which have watersport activities and a large selection of cruises and fun boat trips.
Golf
The Algarve boasts many famous golf courses, the nearest is Carvoeiro, but a 30 min drive gives you the choice of 8 of Europe's finest courses.
Travel
Faro airport is 45mins drive. Car hire is recommended.
Lisbon airport is a 2 hour drive from the Algarve and can be an alternative travel option.
Distances
Silves and Messines are both a 10 min drive from you, both have modern supermarkets, banks, chemists. Algarve shopping is 20 mins drive and has a large array of boutiques, perfumerias, multi screen cinema (English), 10 pin bowling, restaurants etc.

Silves is packed with traditional restaurants and street cafes, has banks and a large modern supermarket and a fruit, vegetable and fresh fish market.
