Notes on accommodation
This is a ground floor apartment with a large balcony that is ideally suited for children. No smoking inside the apartment.
Accessibility
The property is a ground floor apartment, there are no steps to the apartment which gives easy access for wheelchairs and prams.
Outside
The property has a good sized balcony with a small grassed area to the front. The balcony is accessible by two patio doors from the living and kitchen area. Electric shutters are on all windows and patio doors.
Coast/Beach
There is a spectacular large beach situated about 2 minutes from the apartment. Another similar beach is situated at Nazare (15 mins) and Foz do Arrollo (famous for surfing and water sports) 10 mins away.
Golf
Praia D'el Rey approximately 30 minutes away.
Travel
Nearest airports are Lisbon 1 hour away (90 kms) and Porto airport some 2 hours away both are linked by the A8 motorway. A hire vehicle is recommended but there are bus and rail links.
Distances
Lisbon 1 hour, Caldas Da Raina 15 mins, Obidos (medieval town) 20 mins, Nazare (historic seaside town) 15 mins, Praia D'el Rey (18 hole golf course) 30 mins.
Further details
Apartment is situated close to all amenities, there is a local fruit and veg market less than 5 minutes away. The spa town Caldas Da Raina is good for shopping and has historical interests. There are loads of small and quiet bays to explore and practice your surfing skills.
Booking notes
Price includes linen, towels please bring your own beach towels. A 50% deposit is required to secure booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. A £100 key/breakages deposit is also payable but refunded on safe return and satisfactory housekeeping check. Can also provide welcome pack if required at a cost of £15.
