Downstairs consisting of kitchen with covered patio, one double bedroom and separate full bathroom, spacious lounge with staircase leading to 'Minstrel Gallery' and 2 bedrooms upstairs one twin bedded with en suite shower room and one double bedroom (without en suite). The upstairs bedrooms both have patio doors leading to a verandah with beautiful unspoiled countryside views looking down towards the hills of Santa Caterina.

Outside
The villa has its own pool (size 7m x 5m approx) There is a barbecue area with outdoor table/chairs for alfresco eating. There are sun patios with loungers. The villa is walled all the way around and at the front there are gardens with palm trees, bourganvillias and shrubs. There is parking for several cars and large double gates that can be closed.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Fuzeta which is 15 minutes drive. Here you can take a little ferry ride to the island beach. There are dozens of other beaches within 20/30 minutes drive. Several of the beaches are reached by ferry, one at Pedras del Rei by a litle train (kids love this one) and towards Spain you can drive up to the beach at Manta Rota and others. The beaches of the Eastern Algarve are beautiful long and sandy.
Golf
There are many other golf courses within 40 minutes drive.
The nearest larger golf courses are just outside Tavira 20 minutes drive. There are also smaller courses nearby the nearest just a few minutes drive. It is about 30 to 40 minutes drive to Villamoura where you will find the more well known golf courses and 30 minutes the nearest course in Spain.
Travel
Faro is the only airport on the Algarve. It is about 30 minutes drive from the villa. A car is essential for this villa.
Distances
Moncarapacho is the nearest village being about 2 kms away (5 mins drive). In the oposite direction is Santa Caterina a similar distance. Sao Bras is about 15 mins drive and Loule about 25 mins. Both have excellent municipal outdoor pools. Tavira on the coast about 20 minutes drive and the Spanish Border 30 minutes drive. The villa is ideally situated for exploring the Algarve and the resorts in the West are all within easy driving distance for Aqua Parks, Zoomarine, and wonderful beaches.
Further details
In the nearby village of Moncarapacho there are banks, bars & cafes, an internet cafe, restaurants, mini mercados, supermaket, pottery, museum, post office & petrol station. There are outdoor markets every Sunday around the area.
Tavira County Lawn Bowling Club is just 5 minutes drive at Cerro do Leiria, Santa Caterina - a beautiful green and a lovely spot to enjoy a pleasant game of bowls. Visitors are welcome.
