Casa Farol has 4 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and a separate downstairs toilet. All rooms are air-conditioned. The villa is south facing and benefits from all day sun. There is a covered seating area by the pool for outside dining and plenty of space for 8 sun loungers. The Large free formed swimming pool can be heated for a small extra charge and has a small children’s pool to the side. Outside also has a built in BBQ for those summer nights spent dining alfresco. There is also an outside ping pong table and a playstation 2 for the kids. The villa has satellite TV with a selection of all major UK channels including BBC and ITV. The villa is about a 10 minute walk to the beach there is also a Mini Mercado and a few restaurants within easy walking distance, the main old town of Lagos is about a 25 minute walk and only about 5 euros in a taxi.

Cot and highchairs can be hired through our management agent for a small extra cost.
Outside
The outside of Casa Farol is all paved in Portuguese traditional cobbles (calcada) around the pool and to the side of the villa there is plenty of space for 8 sunloungers and outside tables and chairs, there is a built in BBQ by the back kitchen door and a rotary washing line out back and a ping pong table. The private pool is a free formed shape with a children's pool to the side, the pool can be heated for a small extra charge.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach to Casa Farol is Praia Dona Ana, this is a coved beach reached by steps from the top of the cliff tops and it very sheltered from any wind, you can walk to this beach within 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. In the car you are only a few minutes from the Porto do Mos beach (you can walk this but there is a hill on the way back) Porto do Mos has 2 beach bar/restaurants available.
Golf
Boa Vista is the closest golf course to Casa Farol, approximately 3 kilometers, there are also many other golf courses available within a 20 minute drive of the villa.
Travel
Faro airport is your closest airport and is about 80 kilometres and will take approximately 1 hour by car, we can arrange car hire and airport transfers.
Distances
Lagos old town center is about 25 minutes walk from the villa or a few minutes by car, other places of interest would be the local villages of Luz, Burgau or Salema with beautiful beaches, further up the west cost you have the most westerly point of Europe at Cape St Vincent / Sagres.
Further details
The villa is situated at Ponta da Piedade and near Praia Camilo and Dona Ana beaches some of Lagos’s most beautiful coves and located within a short walk of the famous limestone cliffs.

To secure a booking we would require 20% deposit and the balance at 8 weeks before arrival.
