Located in real Portugal is the sleepy village of Cabanas and only 30 minutes from Faro airport. This new, high quality apartment has spectacular sea views and is furnished to a very high standard. The sea front is just a few minutes walk away where you can dine in the many traditional Portuguese restaurants. There is a local market where you can buy fresh produce daily and several supermarkets are also available within walking distance. The apartment is a very good base to explore the surrounding areas, Spain and the lovely town of Ayamonte being only 30 minutes drive. Further afield is Seville being a 75 minute drive. Of course there is golf very nearby with at least 5 courses being readily available. With regard to eating out, there are endless good quality restaurants which cater for everyone. Should you require to travel by local transport there are buses and trains within a very short walk.

Notes on accommodation
Dual units for both air-conditioning and heat. Wood burning stove in the lounge. Good suitability for children with playgrounds nearby.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair users as the apartment is on the first and second floor.
Outside
Being a duplex apartment outside space is in abundance with the furnished balcony on the first floor with sea views is an ideal place to enjoy meals. Parasol and barbecue are available. The top floor terrace having sun loungers also has very good sea views. Drying area is also available.
Coast/Beach
The coast is two minutes walk away and access to the beach is view a small boat on the Cabanas front this is at a cost of 1.30 euros per return trip taking just a couple of minutes. The beach has facilities to eat, toilets and showers and some water sports. Sun loungers and parasols are available, prices range from 8 to 12 euros per day for 2 sunbeds including a parasol.
Golf
Benamor Golf Course is on the doorstep with Quinta da Ria being 10 minutes away. Jack Nicklaus course opened in 2007 this being 15 minutes drive away. Castro marim is 30 minutes away and in Spain at Isla Canela there is another course.

Faro 40km. Tavira 6km. Vila Real 20km. Loule 35km. Ayamonte (Spain) 24km. Seville 180km.
