Stunning villa in a rural location built in 3000 square meter of beautifully landscaped area, with a 10x5m private heated pool, overlooking the apple orchard in the front, and pear tree farms in the rear.There is a sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen. A recreation room with pool table and darts. Three bedrooms are on the ground floorfloor .The villa also boasts a 6x10m area for barbecue, outside WC and shower facilities, car port for up 6 cars. Villa Amaya is 5 minutes drive from motorway (A15) and main town Caldas da Rainha and 10 minutes (A8) drive from nearest beach Foz de Arelho. Close to medieval town of Obidos. All amenities in 5 - 7 minutes drive. Ideally located to explore the silver coast region of Portugal. Magnificent views of mountainous countryside, family friendly, romantic, rural, getaway for a group of friends, suits all ages. Close to town and all activities yet in a rural setting, secluded and with mountain views.

Prices are for the property per week in GBP (pound Sterlings).
Changeover day
Saturday preferred but can be flexible where possible. The guests are requested to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure to enable the cleaning staff to get the villa ready for the guests arriving at 3pm. All arrivals are welcome after 3pm.

Notes on accommodation
PlayStation 3 with a couple of games. Trampoline [8 ft ] to be used under adult supervision only by children between the ages of 6- 9. Cards, chess and scrabble are some games. Swimming pool to be used by children under adult supervision. There is also a pool table and dart bo. sitting room is equipped with satellite TV and DVD player. Playstation 3 is available. Free standing fans for the ground floor. Heating provided at extra cost, free standing oil radiators on ground floor. Security system, Fire/smoke alarms fitted. Fire extinguishers and First aid box provided. Lights to the front are on timer and cannot be put on manually.
Pool heating provided at an extra cost of 20 euros per day if required. At the end of your visit you are requested to fold all linen and towels at the foot of the beds, failure to do so will result in a 20.00 euro/£18.00 deduction from your security deposit.

Three bedrooms on ground floor as well as kitchen and toilet therefore easy access for wheelchair users. There is just 1 step surrounding the property. There is easy access for wheelchairs from drive to the left of the property through recreation room.

Villa Amaya is well positioned to enjoy everything that the Silver Coast has to offer - good beaches, great food, amazing sightseeing and numerous sporting facilities. Closer at hand are local cafes. Just 10 minute walk and another is a 15 minute walk to the village of Fanadia which boasts a football ground. Up market restaurants to suit everyone taste from Chinese to Indian can be found in Caldas Da Rainha 5 minutes drive. The beautiful beach at Foz do Arelho is a 15 minutes drive away Foz de Arelho is a delightfully unspoilt village despite being the gateway to the stunning Lagoon and beaches beyond. While those at Sao Martinho and Nazare are a 20 minutes drive away. It is said that the picturesque village of Nazaré got its name from a statue of the Virgin Mary brought to town from Nazareth by a monk in the 4th century. Today it is Portugal's most famous fishing village, having always drawn visitors to its beach and genuinely colorful life. There is a disco/night club in Foz do Arelho and another opposite the church in Obidos. The sprawling spa town of Caldas da Rainha is famous for its locally-made ceramics and thermal cures. It has a tourist office, shopping centre, supermarkets, restaurants and banks [you can change currency here]. There is a go carting arena in Bombarral and a buddha garden in Cadaval. A day trip to Lisbon is recommended but parking in Lisbon is a nightmare. The bus service to Lisbon from Caldas is a good alternative means of transport. You can arrange to have massages and other beauty treatments at the villa itself. Day trips to various places of interest eg. Sintra, Cascais, Lisbon etc. can be arranged with tour companies. Also of great interest are wine tours in the region and bike tours to nearby places if you are so inclined.
All water sport can be had at Foz do Arelho or a bit furthur afield is Peniche.
Booking notes
Prices are per week in Pounds Sterling. Changeable days are Saturday, we will try to be flexible where possible. For booking 30% deposit is required, balance 6 weeks before arrival. A fully refundable additional security deposit of 500 euros is required 1 month prior to arrival date (provided no damage has been done to property). We offer a 10% discount for over 60's during the months of January, Feburary, March, April, May and June. Then for the months of October, November and December.
Guest comments
Stayed at this villa with some of my friends and their kids and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The villa was everything and more. It had a rural surrounding and was just 5 minutes drive away from all amenities. The house was well kept and clean with plenty of space. The owners/caretakers were quick to respond to all our needs.
The weather was good to us and we managed to pack lots of fun into it. The kids enjoyed the go carting and we all took full advantage of the swimming pool and the games facilities.
The owners provided us with details of a website where we were able to book a lift to and from the airport and the car was delivered to our door so we were spared the aggravation of driving to and from the airport. We also booked a wine tasting tour with them. Would have liked to have had a massage as well but ran out of time.
The beach at Foz was lovely but too crowded for my liking I prefered my time by the pool and doing some sightseeing of nearby towns. We enjoyed

We love the Silver Coast because of the beautiful landscapes, friendly people, wonderful weather and fantastic facilities in the area. There are lot of beautiful beaches and water sports activities. There are a lot of lovely quaint villages to explore; and there is something for everyone here. The villa is about five minutes drive from the major motorway A15 connecting to lisbon airport which is just about less than an hours drive away.

The property is just ten minutes drive to the nearest beach. We provide beach towels so you can travel light and make the most of the good weather. Or you can stay by the house pool and have a relaxing massage.
