25% deposit required at time of booking, balance 8 weeks before departure.

Changeover day
Saturday in July/August, otherwise optional for the rest of the year.

The Quinta (3 bedrooms):

2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. 1 bedroom with 3 beds and a shower room. (All bedrooms are large enough for an extra bed). Large, fully equipped kitchen. Laundry room. Spacious split-level living/dining room with a marble fireplace and sliding glass doors opening onto patios with covered eating and lounging areas. There is cable TV, an audio system and a telephone.

Apartment Bonita (1 bedroom + studio room):

Located above the main villa with its own outside staircase, it has large picture windows and a balcony with spectacular views of the sea and gardens. Bedroom with single bed. The very large studio living room has a twin or double bed. Spacious bathroom with bath/shower, wc and bidet. Modern kitchen/dining room with fridge/freezer and oven. Balcony with table and chairs.

Casa Bonita (2 bedrooms):

Located on a lower terrace, away from the main villa and apartment, the Casa is a typical Portuguese cottage that has been completely renovated in 2004. It has its own driveway and parking area as well as a patio and built-in barbecue area. 1 double bedroom. 1 twin bedroom. 2 Bath/Shower rooms with wc and basin. New Kitchen with free standing fridge/freezer,dishwasher. Lounge with French windows opening onto the patio, dining area and log burning fireplace. Central heating and fans in all rooms

Whole Estate (6/7 Bedrooms, Sleeps 16)

The whole estate, booked as one, can accommodate 16 persons in 6/7 bedrooms.

Outside
Magnificent gardens with waterfalls, ponds, cobbled pathways, terraces, an orchard and a giant chess set. A walled 45 foot swimming pool offers complete privacy. The barbecue area with marble table seating 14 is protected from the sun and wind and is tiled with exquisite hand painted 'Azulejos'. The entire area looks down onto a formal Italian garden and the marble chess. Throughout the property there are numerous terraced nooks and crannies with sunbeds, tables, chairs and tiled seating areas.

Coast/Beach
Luz and Lagos beaches are 5 minutes by car and there are many others within a 15 minute drive.

Golf
Property looks onto Boa Vista golf course (photos available), 5 minutes drive away. The links course of Palmares is 10 minutes away and Parque de Floresta and Penina are 15 minutes drive. Golf times can be booked through our office

Special interest holidays
The property is ideal for family gatherings and we can provide full catering for special occasions. Philosophy week run in September of each year.

Travel
Faro airport is 45 minutes drive, Lisbon is 2.5 hours and Seville airport is 2 1/2 hours.
Car hire is essential. We can offer competitive rates and/or arrange for taxis.

Distances
The nearest town is the ancient port of Lagos less than 7 minutes away and the fishing village of Luz is 5 minutes. Both visible from the property.

Further details
There is a full-time gardener and maid and a very friendly resident cat. An English representative is at hand.
All linen is provided except for beach towels.
We can provide catering for family celebrations.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit is reqired at the time of reservation with the balance paid 8 weeks before departure.
