This charming and spacious villa has a huge private pool and large sun terraces. It is perfectly peaceful, yet less than 5 mins drive to the amenities of the bustling, lively resort of Albufeira. It is a 10 minute walk down a country lane to the bars and restaurants of Pateo, where there is also a supermarket, newsagent and bakery. Car hire, therefore, is not essential but is recommended to enable you to savour all the delights of the Algarve. There are numerous beautiful beaches all within 5 to 10 mins drive away. The villa has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with a recently installed brand new kitchen, top quality appliances and modern bathrooms. The spacious lounge opens onto the sun terraces and pool area which has a built in BBQ, ideal for dining alfresco on those typical balmy evenings in the Algarve. There is free wifi internet access. All the accomodation is on one level. There is an apartment on the top floor which the owner occupies from time to time.

Coast/Beach
There are numerous beautiful beaches all within a 5 to 10 minute drive away - from the Famous Fishermans Beach in the Old Town which stretches along the coast to Vilamoura, to the hidden coves of Coelho, Sesmarias, Evaristo, the long stretch of beach at Gale - you could visit a different beach every day.
Travel
The villa is approximately 45 minutes drive from Faro airport.
Car hire not essential as the villa is a 0.6km (less than half a mile) walk down a country lane to the bars and restaurants of Pateo on the outskirts of Albufeira Old Town.
Further details
For those not wishing to hire a car, we can provide a shopping service in advance of your arrival - you supply a list of your requirements and they will be in the villa on your arrival with an itemised till receipt which you pay locally.
We can also arrange a minibus transfer to and from Faro airport - this costs 32 euros each way for up to 4 people and 47 euros each way for 5 - 8 people, payable to the driver.
Booking notes
25% booking deposit required with balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Security/damage deposit required which will be returned after departure.

Very peaceful location and yet only a six or seven minute drive from Albufeira old town. No hesitation at all in recommending this villa to others. Jane. July'11.
The view from the patio is magnificent! A great place to get away from it all and unwind, but still easily accessible to Albufeira. We will be back. Andy, August 2011.
hi Ann and Jim, thanks for ur e mail. We would all like to say that we had a fantastic holiday at casa lucia. We all thought the outside space is fabulous the pool and surrounds lovely and clean. Inside the same everything we needed in the villa was there, all in all a lovely and well maintained property, even the country lane wouldn't put us off! We hope to see you again.
