Outside
The property and grounds are well fenced and hedged and very private. Double iron gates lead into a gravel courtyard with ample parking. There are beautifully landscaped gardens at the front and rear, including cactus, palms, lemon and avocado trees. The rear garden has plenty of terraced area surrounding the pool and includes a built in brick barbecue. The pool measures 8m x 4m (2m maximum depth). Patios are south facing.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful Porto de Mos beach is about a 25 minute walk from Casa Madeira. It can of course be reached by car in just a few minutes. There are numerous sandy beaches within a short driving distance.
Golf
Closest golf course is Boa Vista, only 5 minutes away by car, a challenging 18 hole course with beautiful views across Lagos, the Atlantic and surrounding countryside. Palmares course with its links holes along Meia Praia beach is also only a few minutes by car.
Travel
Faro Airport is approx 80km via the new motorway and takes just under an hour by car.
Lisbon is approx 300km (3 hours).
Distances
Lagos is approx 2km, large supermarket 1km. Restaurants, shops and cafes all within short walking distance.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Colin or Sue Hepple will personally meet you at the property on your arrival and will be your point of contact for the duration of your holiday.
