It is in the heart of Carvoeiro which has dozens of excellent restaurants and bars yet retains a village atmosphere. Ideal for a holiday at any time of the year, there are many attractions, beaches and golf courses within easy driving distance of the apartment. The lovely Carvoeiro beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There are other beautiful beaches within walking distance. This luxury first floor apartment can be reached by either stairs or elevator. Both bedrooms, kitchen and lounge all have patio doors leading onto the large balcony which overlooks the village street, ideal for alfresco meals or watching the world go by. Secure parking is available at no extra cost.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Dependant on other guests arrivals/departures, there may be flexibility in changeover times.

| Living Rooms: | Beautifully furnished large living/dining room with double bed settee. There is a flat screen TV with satellite providing English channels and also a DVD player with a small selection of DVDs (this will also play your CDs). |

Linen and towels are included in the rental. The property is cleaned and linen/towels changed once a week, though extra cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost. |

Notes on accommodation
The patio doors are double glazed and have electric shutters. For winter lets, the air con units are reversible (hot/cold) and we also provide oil filled radiators. The apartment block has secure parking on ground level, you will be provided with a fob to open the electric garage doors. There is direct access from the garage into the apartment building.
Accessibility
Whilst the apartment is suitable for people with mobility problems it is not adapted for wheelchair users. There are no stairs to climb, there is an elevator to street level. A gentle stroll will take you to the village square and lovely beach.
Outside
The large balcony has table and chairs and 2 very comfortable sun loungers. We have beach mats, sun umbrellas and some beach toys which you are welcome to use.
Coast/Beach
The lovely beach at Carvoeiro is less than 5 minutes stroll from the apartment. There are often local fisherman available to take you round the many coves and caves along the coast. There are other lovely beaches within walking distance but if you have a car for a few days there are some gems to discover! The Algarve coast has many lovely towns and villages to explore, both on the coast and inland, if you like a change from the beach. Lagos, Albufeira and Monchique are all well worth a visit.
Golf
Vale de Milho is a 9 hole course, and is on the outskirts of the village. This is a short nine-hole course, which is visually very attractive, yet surprising because of its challenging nature. Quinta do Gramacho is approximately 3 miles from Carvoeiro as is Vale da Pinta. This course runs through an old olive grove, where some of the trees are more than 700 years old. There are many more courses within easy driving distance of Carvoeiro.
Travel
Faro is the nearest airport and it is approximately 45 minutes drive to Carvoeiro. Car hire is not essential, there are companies who provide airport transfers at a reasonable cost. There are also companies in the village who can provide you with various day trips, and also car hire firms if you only want a car for a few days of your holiday.
Distances
Near Lagoa only a few miles from Carvoeiro is Slide and Splash - the name says it all – a day of sliding down the Kamikaze or the Black Hole and splashing in the Olympic sized pool. The park is good for children of all ages, particularly excellent for the little ones. A little further away is Zoo Marine, where adults and children can enjoy a swim with dolphins!
Further details
There are small supermarkets in the village and a larger one (Intermarche) on the outskirts. You will pass it on your right as you drive into Carvoeiro. The village has banks, post office, chemist, butchers, bakers and many small interesting shops to supply you with all your requirements for a self catering holiday.
