Located in a country resort named Vale da Ribeira, only 45 minutes drive from Faro airport, and less than 10 minutes from Lagos, Alvor and Portimao. Absolutely perfect for families looking for a mix of country, beach and town. The attractively furnished holiday home is attached and equipped with every modern convenience. There are a number of terraces and gardens. One terrace has a built-in barbecue and enjoys good views of the shared swimming pool. The surrounding area is a golfer's paradise as there are so many golf courses. Lagos, Algarve's most attractive and historic town is close to some of the best beaches on the Algarve cost, including the famous 5km long Meia Praia beach that stretches from Lagos to the Alvor estuary. There are also many more beautiful beaches to be found further down the coast. Alvor is a lively former fishing village with a characterful riverfront harbour. Portimao is ideal for shopping, or taking a boat trip up the coast, jeep safaris, bike tours, etc.

Changeover day
Changeover Day is Saturday in high and mid season. Check in from 17.00 hours. We are flexible, but we are grateful for departure at 11am.

The stairs can be fitted with a gate for security of your toddler.
Linen change 1 times per seven nights included.Cleaning 50 € (in case of a 2 week stay,a compulsory weekly cleaning will be done). Towels for the pool are available.Extra maid service can be arranged and charged separately.

A spacious open plan reception living room with terrace and beautiful country-coast views, comfortable garden furniture on the terrace. Room with two sofas (seating for 6) and dining area (seating for 6). Satellite TV and DVD player.
One bedroom with two separate beds located at entrance level, master bedroom with bathroom en suite and 3e bedroom with bathroom en-suite located one level down both with sliding doors to garden terrace.

 

Notes on accommodation
A travel cot and/or high chair are available on request at no extra cost. The townhouse has air-conditioning fitted in all bedrooms. Internet connection available upon request charge € 3.50 per night for USB stick.

Outside
The property has a outside terrace with barbecue. The property is set in a beautiful landscaped area with a large pool. There is a pool for children which is separated from the main pool. Loungers and parasols are set aside the pool,beach towels are available at the villa.

Coast/Beach
There are numerous fabulous beaches all along the coast, for which the Algarve is so famous. The nearest beach is Meia Praia, which has 3 miles of golden sands. This beach, very suitable for families, is only a 10 minute drive from the property. There are numerous snack bars and restaurants with toilet facilities, to enable you to spend the whole day on the beach.

Golf
The Algarve is renowned for its excellent golf courses. There are several golf courses within between a 5 and 20 minute drive, these include Palmares; Alto Golf; Penina; Boavista; Gramacho; Salgados; Silves.

Special interest holidays
Chiropody/footcare and Footreflexology can be provided- home visit by appointment.

Travel
The airport is in Faro which is a 45 min drive. Lisbon is 300 km away, about a 3 hour drive. Sevilla (Spain) less then 3 hours drive.

Distances
Only a 5 to10 min drive to either the village Odiaxere or Portimao, Lagos or Alvor.

Further details
A wide range of supermarkets available in Lagos. In Odiaxere, the nearest village, are three small grocery stores, a vegetable and fish market. Also there is a very good bakery. Different local and international restaurants on short distance.

Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required on booking. 50 % must be paid one month before date of arrival. Upon arrival we require a € 200 deposit in cash, refundable when leaving.
