Luxury 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on a 4* resort in the beautiful fishing village of Burgau, Western Algarve. The beautiful Burgau beach, with it's fabulous beach bar restaurant is only a ten minute walk from the apartment. For golfers there are several courses within a 15 minute drive, for surfers there are stunning beaches on the West Coast, and for those who enjoy walking this is a great location for many breathtaking walks along the coastline. Burgau is fifteen minutes from the historic town of Lagos with it's beautiful Marina and a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. The apartment has been furnished to a high specification by the owner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwashing, washing machine, hob and oven. The living room has 2 sofas, a TV with Sky channels, a DVD player and opens out onto the terrace where there is a built-in BBQ for alfresco dining. All rooms open onto the terrace.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air-conditioning which can be used for heating in the colder months. There are also two portable heaters provided for winter use.
Accessibility
The property has not been constructed for wheelchair users.
Outside
The large terrace has beautiful views of the village and sea. There is a table with six chairs for alfresco dining. Guests will have exclusive use of the Burgau Clubhouse facilities, including a well equipped gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, childrens pool, bar and restaurant.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beaches of Burgau and Salema, noted as the safest in the Algarve, are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun sea and sand, or alternatively you can relax on the terraces of the fabulous beach restaurants in both locations.
Golf
Within a 10 minute drive there are two world class golf courses, Parque da Floresta with it's spectacular and challenging course and the relatively new and very popular Boavista. Both courses have Spa facilities. A 30 minute drive East takes you to the Penina Golf Course, the first to be built in the Algarve.
Travel
Burgau is approximately a one hour drive by motorway from Faro airport where car hire can be arranged. A train and bus service also runs from Faro to Lagos and Burgau respectively.
Distances
The apartment is only a few minutes walk from local restaurants and shops. Luz is a five minute drive with more restaurants, shops and a supermarket, and the beautiful historic town of Lagos, with its own marina, shops and varied selection of restaurants is a ten minute drive.
Further details
Burgau has an excellent selection of bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment. There are two small supermarkets for groceries and provisions, small gift shops and a multibanco cash point in the village. The small Burgau Sports Centre on the edge of the village has tennis and squash courts and keep fit classes. Horse riding is available within ten minute drive. Lagos has a selection of boat trips for dolphin spotting, fishing, general charter, picnic boats for visiting the caves and grottos along the coast. There is Zoomarine at Ghia, a forty minute drive, where you can swim with dolphins, and is well worth the drive. There is also a water park close to Ghia.
Booking notes
Booking dates are flexible to help guests in obtaining cheaper flights. A 25% non refundable deposit secures the booking along with the completed booking form. The balance would be required four weeks before your arrival date. A refundable £200 damage deposit (cheque or cash) would be required on arrival and will be returned on your departure by the apartment manager.
