Superb apartment given makeovers in 2009 and 2011. All furnishings and fixtures are of a high standard in our 'home abroad' which boasts probably the best view on the complex. The picture on the main page is from our apartment balcony, we are not aware of any other 2 bed Owners Direct rented apartments having the same view. Full air-conditioning provides for an extremely comfortable environment all year round. There are 2 terraced balconies providing in excess of 60 ft of outside living space (approx 360 sq. ft. ). All balconies have 5mm perspex fitted to ensure safety for kids. The complex is the most spacious in the region sitting in circa 5 acres of grounds, the majority of which is lush outdoor space to relax in. The pools are enormous. The adult pool is approx 55 x 40m, the children’s pool is 23 x 23m. We have never seen the green area crowded, you will always be able to find a secluded corner to chill in. Sunbeds are available by the pool, sunbed cushions are provided.

Notes on accommodation
Smoking is not allowed in this apartment. Two lifts are available to serve this accommodation. A travel cot and highchair are available for your small ones, please bring your own bed linen for the travel cot.
A safe is available as is a carbon monoxide detector. A hairdryer is provided as is an iron/ironing board. To ensure you have a relaxing time we have provided DVDs and some books for you to use.
Outside
The complex has the following facilities. Pool Bar open during the day in summer months. Children's play area. Sunbeds are available by the pool (we provide sunbed mattresses for your comfort). An underground car park is available.
Coast/Beach
Alvor is renowned for its superb beaches. The closest beach to the apartment is about a mile away. Around Alvor there are more than 5 miles of blue flag sandy beaches and sand dunes that are a protected conservation area and cannot be developed. Alvor boasts one of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches, where you can explore coves and caves. The entire stretch is uncrowded, has occasional beach bars & restaurants, sun beds & umbrellas and some water sports facilities.
Golf
The golf in the Algarve is some of the best the world has to offer. Please enquire for details if you wish to sample the delights of the region's golf courses.
Travel
Faro airport is circa 45 mins drive on mostly motorway and is served by most low-cost airlines from the UK and Ireland.
Distances
Alvor is centrally situated to enable you to get to the busier towns of Praia de Rocha with it's clubs and casino, Portimao or Lagos. The lazier, quieter western Algarve resorts of Praia de Luz, Burgau or Sagres. Even quieter are the resorts on the west coast of Portugal where you could find a beach to yourself. Other places to visit include the water park near Armacao de Pera, Aljezur, Cape St Vincent and the Monchique Mountains that can be seen in the distance from the apartment.

Prices are per apartment per week, inclusive of utilities. Deposit of 25% payable by cheque or bank transfer with booking form to secure the reservation. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
I will hold the apartment for up to 7 days without deposit to enable you to make your travel arangements.
