On the other side are sun loungers, for the serious sun worshipper. The views are fantastic, both of the ocean and the surrounding hills.

Changeover day
We are flexible with changeover dates and will endeavour to accommodate guests flight times.

| Kitchen: | The kitchen is 4m x 4m with all mod cons. Windows are full length of kitchen and open on to a small balcony with sun awning. The kitchen has table and chairs, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc. Off the kitchen is an outdoor patio for further dining. |
| Utility Room: | It is fully equipped with wash basins, washing machine, iron, ironing board and cleaning materials. |
| Living Rooms: | There are 2 comfortable sofas plus armchairs, coffee table, occasional tables with reading lamps. Flat TV screen. DVD. Double glazed floor to ceiling windows opening onto the garden and swimming pool. Dining table with 6 chairs at one end of the room. |

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning throughout and heating in Winter. Swimming pools for both adults and children. Indoor Jacuzzis. Large decking around the pool furnished with sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The complex is enclosed with fencing which makes it safe and secure for children.

The pools are shared and unheated. Own private gas BBQ on roof terrace. 2 Jacuzzi tubs with changing rooms in specially built indoor Jacuzzi unit.

Coast/Beach
Between Tavira and Monte Gordo there is a stretch of 24km of long sandy beaches. There are 5 blue flag beaches with soft white sand and beach-side restaurants, bars and car parking. The Isle of Tavira is a short boat trip from Tavira riverside, or by ferry from the yacht club at Quatro Aquas.
A favouite beach is 4km from Tavira, called Barril, where there are cafes and water sports and many other activities.
Golf
There are 6 prestigious golf courses, east of Tavira. All within 20 minutes drive. The nearest, Benamor, only 5 minutes drive away. The 2 latest are the Jack Nicklaus Signature course - Monte Rei - with its luxurious clubhouse and magnificent views over the course and surrounding countryside. The first Severiano Ballesteros Championship design lies at the edge of the River Guardiano. Castro Marim is a par 71 (73 ladies) on the Portuguese/Spanish border.
Travel
The airport is approx. 30 minutes drive. Seville is less than 2 hours by car. Lisbon 3 hours drive, on the motorway. Car is recommended but not essential. There are 4 water parks and 2 theme parks along the Algarve - all reached within 90 minutes.
Distances
The house is 1 kilometre from the centre of town. Tavira has 4 supermarkets, many banks, tourist information office. Railway and bus stations. Boats for trips down the Guardiano River. Ferries to the Island of Tavira.
Further details
There are many riverside restaurants on both sides of the Gilao River, connected by the Roman bridge. There are cafes and restaurants in the romantic squares, where one can sit under swaying palm trees or tall jacaranda trees and watch the world go by, whilst drinking a coffee or a glass of Portuguese wine. For those who enjoy a night on the town, Monte Gordo and Ayomonte (Spain - 20 mins away) offer lots of bars, restaurants as well as a casino, complete with nightly shows.
