A charming, traditional villa, Quinta da Alfarrobeira stands in colourful gardens. 600m from the shops, bars and places to eat in the centre of Carvoeiro, half of which journey is via a fairly steep slope. The town beach and many other beaches are within easy reach. The villa is delightfully decorated throughout, with unusual parquet flooring complemented by traditional whitewashed walls. The attractive dining area has an open hearth built into the rough stone wall and is separated by a step from the comfortable lounge. An impressive wooden staircase leads up to a gallery area and a sitting room opening onto a spacious balcony boasting fabulous views across the surrounding countryside to the sea. One bedroom faces the swimming pool, a second faces the side garden and a third has its own en-suite shower room.

A sheltered veranda leads onto the poolside terrace which is kept pleasingly private by an enclosing bougainvillea-clad wall, beyond which colourful gardens encircle the house, planted with lemon, pine and carob trees.
Coast/Beach
The villa is 5 minutes walk from the main beach in Carvoeiro. Many other beaches are within a 10 minute drive from the villa - all have fantastic facilities with beach bar, sunbeds, water sports and life guard etc.
Golf
Carvoeiro golf club is within a 5 minute drive from the property - 2 x 18 hole championship golf courses. Vale de Milho 3 par, 9 hole golf course just a couple of minutes drive from the property. Tennis club is in a 5 minute drive.
Travel
Faro airport is 40 mins drive. Car hire not essential but recommended. Owners can provide details of taxis if required.
Distances
Historic towns of Silves is 15 minutes drive, Albufeira, Monchique and Lagos 25 minutes drive.
Further details
Carvoeiro 600m with restaurants, shops banks and cash points. Tennis - Carvoeiro Club 5 minutes drive and Rocha Brava 10 minutes drive. Water sports - Algor Seco 5 minutes drive is popular for snorkelling and scuba diving, nearby Ferragudo beach 10 minutes drive has a range of water sports including jet skis, windsurfing and pedalos for hire. Water Parks - 2 nearby, Aqualand and Slide and Splash. Zoo Marine with its variety of wildlife and spectacular dolphin show (including opportunity to swim with them) is situated at Guia 15 mins drive.
