The villa is perfect for families or couples having a private garden set around the pool with large sunny terrace incorporating a covered dining area and built-in barbecue. On the ground floor there is an open-plan living/dining area leading out onto the open and covered terrace. 2 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor (both with en-suites) with access to an enclosed terrace, whilst the master bedroom upstairs benefits from a larger en-suite and has access to the spacious roof terrace - perfect for admiring the sunset! The well equipped garden has a large dining table which seats 8 together with 6 sun loungers and additional casual seating. There is a built-in barbecue and sink together with a poolside shower and pool cover.

Coast/Beach
The closest beach to the villa is the long sandy beach at Praia D'el Rey, access to which is only a 3 minute walk from the villa. This is a great surfing beach and great for a game of beach cricket! Obidos lagoon provides a huge expanse of sand and safe and shallow water, perfect for young children and toddlers. Other local beaches include the famous surfing beaches at Peniche and Baleal a mere fifteen minute drive away.
Golf
"Links View" is located within Praia D'el Rey Golf Resort and directly overlooks the 2nd fairway and affords fantastic views of the Atlantic. Other local courses include Bom Successo.
Travel
Fly to Lisbon airport. The resort is approximately 45 minutes drive to the north. The distance from Lisbon airport is 90 km. The journey is straightforward ( on the A8 motorway) and a map is available on request.
Major airlines serving Lisbon include BA, TAP and EasyJet.
Distances
The nearest village to the resort is Serra D'el Rei where you can find a small supermarket for essentials, a bakery/coffee shop, pharmacy, pizza restaurant and church.
Obidos, the famous walled town with World Heritage status, is a 20 minute drive. Peniche, which has a pretty harbour and great fish restaurants is a 15 minute drive from the resort.
Booking notes
Please note: pets are not accepted and this is a non-smoking villa. Linen, towels included except beach towels. This includes cleaning/laundry before each visit and a change of linen every week (if staying more than 10 days). Payments in GBP by cheque or bank transfer. A non- refundable 25% deposit (of full rental cost) secures booking. Remaining balance due 8 weeks before stay together with refundable security deposit of £500 (returned within 10 days of stay subject to any damage/breakages).
