The lounge features a DVD and CD system and leads onto covered patio with dining area and the private garden and swimming pool. The kitchen is fully fitted with granite work tops and washing machine and tumble dryer. Also leading off the hall is a twin bedroom with en suite facilities. Stairs lead down to a basement which features a large room for storage such as golf clubs etc and an overflow Fridge and tumble dryer. On the first floor are two master bedrooms both en suite, beautifully furnished with views towards the sea. The peaceful private estate boast two tennis courts, a private gym and a sauna. The villa is fully air conditioned and the pool can be heated. The estate is entered through private gates and has a security guard at night.

| Living Rooms: | The living room has two comfortable sofas, two wicker armchairs and a large coffee table with attractive fire place. Also a sideboard and a bookshelf unit. There is a TV, DVD and CD. In the dining area there is a glass dining table and chairs. |

Bath Towels and linen are included and maid service is available. There are also beach towels. |
Outside
The very attractive private garden has out door dining table and chairs and swimming pool. A very short walk are the private tennis courts, gym and sauna for private use of the estate.
Coast/Beach
This area boast beautiful beaches and many beach restaurants. The nearest beach is 3.5 kms from the villa and can be easily reached on foot through lovely countryside. The nearest supermarket is 2 kms.
Golf
Vale do Lobo is famous for its Golf courses and there are at least five world class golf courses nearby.
Travel
Faro Airport is twenty five minutes from the Villa. Car hire is recommended. There are plenty of Taxis at Airport.
Distances
There are plenty of places to visit nearby such as the city of Faro, Loule and the harbour a Quarteira. Further afield is Tavira and the Lagos, Sagres and the stunning west coast is about one hour drive away.

About the owner
We are two long standing family friends who own the villa, John and Jackie, and Roger and Irene.We live in Cookham, Berkshire, and both have three grown up children,and several grandchildren are now appearing !
We have spent many happy holidays together over the years, and so, in 2000 decided to buy the villa in Fazenda Santiago. Irene and Jackie furnished the whole house together, with a little help from local interior designers, and now we have a very comfortable home in the sun.We only started letting the house a little this year, to recoup some of the running expenses.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the villa from new. It is located on a very peaceful, secure, gated development of only 25 villas, and within walking distance of the beach. We have sea views from bedrooms upstairs.We chose it, because it is very close to all the "action" at Vale do Lobo, and Quinta do Lago, and yet Fazenda is a beautiful, peaceful little oasis. All you could want is near by, golf, beach bars, restaurants, shops, water-shoots etc etc.It is also only 15 minutes drive from Faro airport, and 15 minutes drive from the charming small town of Loule.It is within 10 minutes drive of the motor-way, which gives you rapid access to other parts of the Algarve.We have also taken the boat to Bilbao, and driven down to the villa, staying at villages on the way down, which is a great trip.

It was not bought for letting, and is very much set up as our own home. It is very different from similar houses in the area, as it is on a small prestigious gated development of mainly very large houses, and security guards protect the development nightly. Although our villa is the end one of a terrace of five,it is totally self contained and private. The large garden is also a feature.
