Notes on accommodation
Ideal apartment for various types of holidays be it family, couples, special interest (golf or other sports) and or just a group of friends for fun and relaxation. Comfort and cleanliness is the key. It is a no smoking apartment however smoking is permitted on the balconies only (please). All rooms are fitted with electronic blackout shutters perfect for a great night sleep, waking to sunshine and feeling refreshed. Apartment is also very child friendly. Note: high chair, travel cot, can be hired from our English speaking managing agent at an additional cost.

Key pad entry system. Secure video entry. Secure basement car parking and lift/stairs to apartment/front door.
Outside
The apartment offers two large private balconies both overlooking the pool and children's play area, for peace of mind. The first balcony can be entered via the kitchen/sitting room and has a built in BBQ, table, parasol and four chairs perfect for alfresco dining breakfast, lunch or dinner. The second balcony leads of all three bedrooms and is supplied with table and 6 chairs perfect for that evening meal, relaxation and enjoying some fine wines. Both balconies are fitted with outdoor lighting. Secure underground car parking. Large shared secure swimming pool (18m x9m x1.35m-same depth throughout) The pool area benefits from sun all day. Communal gymnasium. Tidy landscaped communal gardens, secure children's play area and snack bar.
Coast/Beach
The beaches in Lagos are some of the most beautiful and breathtaking of the Algarve. Batata and Meia Praia beaches are within 10 minutes walk from apartment. Praia Dona Ana (the most photographed beach in Europe) is about 25 mins walking or 5 min drive. Other nice beaches are Praia de Luz and Porto de Mos. On all beaches there are cafes, restaurants and beach bars open day/night perfect for light lunches/dinners or just sipping on cool drinks or tasty cocktails!
Golf
Lagos is a Golfers Haven. The apartment has secure underground car parking and ample storage for golf clubs. The Algarve is famous for its fantastic golf courses all within a short drive of the apartment. There are currently 25 courses and counting. The nearest is Boavista which is only 5 min drive from apartment. Other fabulous courses are Parque de Floresta, Penina, Palmares, Pestana Silves, Pestanta Vale de Pinta and Pestana Gramacho to name just a few. With the Algarve weather Golf is an all year round activity.
Special interest holidays
Lagos has something for everyone. There is a superb range of land, water and air activities to suit all ages and capabilities, some of these are golfing, horse riding, walking, coastal walking tours, historical day trips, bicycle hire, mountain biking, jeep safari (lunch included!), kite surfing, sky diving, fishing, sailing, dolphin spotting, cave exploring, snorkelling, scuba-diving, kayaking, water surfing and wind surfing. The list is endless. Slide and Splash is a water park that would suit a fun family day or the Zoo marine, a marine life theme park with live dolphin and sea lion shows also a unique chance to swim with dolphins. There is an information booklet in the apartment with details of the above mentioned activities. The tourist information office is 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
Travel
Transfer to/from Faro can be arranged through our managing agent or pre-ordered online. Faro Airport to Lagos apx 55 mins nearly all motorway and apartment is easily located. Car hire - while not necessary it is useful to have the freedom to explore neighbouring towns/beaches at your leisure. Bus/train stations are 2 and 5 mins walking respectively from apartment. Taxis are available.

Further details
There are a number of supermarkets within walking distance to the apartment. There are both banks and cash machines situated throughout the town. The Old Town centre is a five minute walk, which is beautiful to stroll through taking in the fine architecture. There is a large selection of cafes serving up top Portuguese pastries and coffees. There also an abundance of restaurants providing Portuguese speciality of fresh sea food and grilled meats along with usual European cusine and Thai, Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants. Likewise there is a great selection of bars for a quick drink or just to relax and watch the world go by. For the more energetic there are some night clubs that open later in the evening.
Booking notes
Prices are in Irish euros per week for 4 persons. Please contacts us on prices on additional or less persons. 25% non refundable deposit will be required to confirm booking and the reminder due 6 weeks in advance of your stay. A 150 euro refundable security/accidental damage deposit will be required. (Cheque preferred and will be returned once property has been inspected and confirmed in order after stay).
