Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is 12 midday.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is ideally located for those travelling with children as its overlooking the pool. Electricity and air conditioning are included in the price. The resort had a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, tokens for these can be purchased from reception.
Accessibility
There are two sofa beds downstairs and a bathroom downstairs.
Outside
The large veranda overlooking the pool has a teak table and 6 chairs and also 2 sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach within walking distance is Sao Rafael beach. The beach nestles into towering cliffs from where you have extraordinary views of the Atlantic Ocean. The beach at Gale is about a 5 minute drive and is also beautiful. The beach at the old town has lots of restaurants and bars along it - about a 10 minute drive.
Golf
The nearest golf course is Salagados which is about a 5 min drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro and is about a 30 minute drive from Ponta Grande. To truly appreciate the Algarve I would recommend car hire however you would manage fine without one.
Distances
Sao Rafael is located just outside the main town of Albufeira, about a 5-10 minute drive. It is close enough to appreciate all the things you want to do on holidays and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main town to have a relaxing holiday.

Resort amenities include 2 pools, mini-golf, tennis, giant chess and games room offering pool, billiards’, video games and internet access. The resort also offers an on-site restaurant with excellent cuisine, bar and snack-bar.
Local attractions: Zoomarine-an amazing water park for all the family - the kids will love it - highly recommended. Algarve shopping: this new complex has lots of shops and also a cinema and bowling alley.
Booking notes
At time of booking a 20% non-refundable deposit is required with the balance payable in full 8 weeks prior to start date. Rates are based on 3 sharing. A rate supplement of 10% applies to parties of 4 and 20% for parties of 5 or 6.
